I took one because it was literally next door to a shop I already have scheduled. In the past, most of the reports have been very straight forward, so I thought I'd give it a chance.
What 89lulalula89 said! Especially audits for that MSC....they have never been as "quick" or "easy" as portrayed in the emails.
I don't know about those audits, but I don't ever find their reports to be quick OR easy.
If the reports were "quick and easy" they would not need to hire auditors to the reports smiling smiley
Jeez....$8 shops???

Maybe if we all stop taking these "low-hanging fruit" shops we can then stop whining about how the fees have been in serious decline.

Seriously folks, leave the $5.00 & $8.00 shops to those who can't construct a proper sentence using a noun, adjective and/or adverb and who require multiple contacts to finalize a report, etc. Maybe, just maybe then MSCs will realize the value of "you get what you pay for" in terms of having shoppers who are professional and complete their assignments on time and deliver reports that don't require much in the way of clarification.

It's called standing strong and a firm belief in the value of our (your) time and not being cowed into accepting assignments that are not commensurate with the professionalism that most of us bring to the table.
Are these in an office supply store ? If so, then they ARE quick and easy and can be reported on a smart phone in minutes. By doing the phone "check in" you avoid the purchase requirement. I have taken them gladly.
They are actually also on an app shop with ZERO computer reports. Same pay. Just type on phone while in store. Cannot get easier.
I signed up for 4 of these on the app. That $32 will buy a new pair of soccer cleats for my kid. Works for me! I did notice all the other audits in my area have been taken, too. I guess we will see how quick and easy these are. It looks like they may be setting up the app to directly enter the info there which would be very cool.
these have nothing to do with the office supply store. These dont even
require you to enter the store

If you are responding to me actually you DO enter the store. The app shop is IN store.

guidelines for these shops are posted. More complicated for some...if you
live in urban area you have to walk around the entire block looking for
things.

The app shop is far from complicated. Super simple.

I think you two may be talking about different shops.

There are neighborhoods here where they'd have to pay me $100 to walk around the entire block on foot. I'd also need to bring my Glock with front pocket quick draw holster. Yes, I have a concealed weapon license for it.
I did one yesterday - it was just off the freeway on the way home from my 9-5. It was super easy and only took a few minutes. I didn't walk around the gigantic block - I drove smiling smiley
I just did one today. It was super easy. Mine was in an outlet mall, so I too didn't walk around, I drove. It took longer to find a place to park to take the picture than to do the whole shop! smiling smiley
Thanks for the updates on these. I have my first scheduled for tomorrow, then 3 more this week. I am hoping they are as quick and easy as they sound. I'm trying to squeeze them into a busy schedule!
If the store is in the middle of a mall, how do you take a picture of the nearest street sign? Mine is in a small shopping center in the middle of nowhere and there are no street signs
I did one that was in a strip mall and had no address on the building. I submitted a photo of the mall sign. It was accepted with no question.
