VeriTES

Is there any recent feedback about this company?

It offers theater checking assignments and appears to have gone by two other names in the past, Theatrical Entertainment Services (TES) and TNS Media Intelligence.

There is a movie theater near me (one of the chains VeriTES works with), where I like to do theater and trailer checks. When this theater is in the top-grossing of (a certain percent; I don't know exactly) for a quarter; there is a great deal of work for the next quarter. Signed, Night Owl
That is correct vlade. VeriTES has a LOT of theater checking jobs coming up every week through summer. Contact me with your city & state and I'll send you an application. Please don't go to our website to fill out an application (there's a bug on this page) but do check out our website for information on our company and call any of the numbers listed:

Does Verites' pay come out to $2.50 an hour like the other company?

Julialuvsmovies,

What exactly is www.moviecheckers.com??? Looked at that site and it explains nothing, did not want to blindly sign up in case it results in spam or whatever....
Pay per hour depends on how long you're at the theater. Also, you can do both Verites and the other company's checks at the same time. Sometime you can also get a ad & materials check thrown in as well. Depends on the theater and the date.

One word of slight caution though, Verites does require a good bit for information on their forms and the reporting on the website is a bit annoying compared to the other company.
weatherman2111,

Correct, the Certified site is so much easier for data entry based on their speedy software.
But Verites pays much better and has more weekly checks. Happy working for both..

That obviously depends on where you are located, though. I know several that work for VeriTES in my locale from doing trailer checks and I get about as much work from MF/CRI as they do from VeriTES in a given month combined. So, more work on forms, fewer scraps to go around for those who aren't favorites...no thanks.
I work for VeriTES and am currently looking for a theater checker in Providence and Lincoln, RI and Foxboro, Marlboro and Bellingham, MA to do jobs that take 2-6 hours on Fridays at movie theaters and pay $15.00 - $30.00 each. Please contact me at 1-800-327-1844.
VeriTES pays $9.00 for 20 minutes and up to $30.00 for 4 hours. It depends on the timing and the amount of work with each job. Please contact me directly at julialuvsmovies@gmail.com with you city & state and I can be more detailed.
VeriTES is in an industry that is seasonal. Between May 1 and Sept 1, we are VERY busy and between Nov 1 and Jan 1 we are VERY, VERY busy. All the other time we are busy and have a LOT of work in all of North America. E-mail me your city & state at Julialuvsmovies@gmail.com and I'll give you more details on work in your area.
I do trailer checks for Verites every Friday. They are a good company and they pay quickly.
I am trying and trying to register with this company. I keep getting a red "Captcha is invalid". I know I am typing it correctly. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
LK00400,

If you read the thread, the answer is there.

vlade,

Many Thanks...I had only skimmed the thread and totally missed that part.

UP to $7.50 an hour then? So UP TO means could be even less?

Your pay will depend on how many screens the feature is playing on and how many films are assigned. A large theatre with 24 screens will have a new feature playing on multiple screens, and a large theatre will often split screens. If you can perform trailer checks for both VeriTes and CFA, great...but it takes great timing to snag a feature for both companies. You could spend hours in the theatre with lag time between showings. Even with both companies, this is not a moneymaking assignment.
Checking all of the posters, banners, small hand-out posters and standees. It's a bit of writing and typing, but they aren't too bad.
