Bestmark Nevada

Yesterday I sent an email to Bestmark asking for their application to shop in Nevada. This morning I got a reply that Bestmark only assigns Nevada shops to residents of Nevada. I found that to be shocking if true. So curious, is there anybody outside of Nevada doing work in Nevada for Bestmark?

Nevada law does not require Nevada residency. It requires working for a Nevada licensed PI firm for all MS work there.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Right, but the Bestmark employee replied to my email and stated that I had to be a Nevada resident to work for them, not just have a work card. I felt that was probably untrue and was simply looking for verification from someone out there who might work for Bestmark in Nevada.

Could be their policy. Are they really all that route shopper friendly? Some MSCs just don't get it and assume everyone takes shops around the corner because they are FUN!

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

I don't know about that. You don't have to be a resident to get a Nevada work card and be employed by a Nevada PI since the PI license is not necessary for a mystery shopper.

In Nevada you have to have a work card from the PILB in order to be a mystery shopper. You also have to be an employee of an MSC that is a licensed PI by the PILB. You do not have to be a Nevada resident in order to get a PILB work card. The other MSCs that are licensed in NV love having non-NV shoppers as it gives them fresh shoppers that aren't doing their shops over and over. I find it VERY odd that Bestmark only works with shoppers who are residents of NV. Ok, honestly I just don't believe it. I think the employee who responded was an idiot and did not know what she was talking about, but I really would like someone who is not a NV resident who works in NV for Bestmark to verify that before I call them and tell them their employee is an idiot.

I am an non-NV resident and was listed under Bestmark's license last time. I did not renew with them though. It has been at least five years since I did a NV shop with them. I have shopped for them in Las Vegas, Henderson and Lake Tahoe in the past.

I prefer to do the big shops in NV when I am there. Not the "grind". I don't know if their (Bestmark's) policy has changed?

I was also listed with ACL, but there is not as snowball's chance in hell that I am doing their jobs there for less than I would pay my kid to vacuum out my car.
