Corporate Research

This company is getting worst to work for. The [brand name deleted] gas stations, they lower the how much they pay for gas and in store purchase. Not worth the time or agg to work for them.

Mod note: Please do not link the client with the company that shops them. It is against forum rules and probably violates the ICA you signed. Thanks

I've worked with this company on and off for years and haven't really had a problem with them. They generally pay as they say they will and that's important to me. If you don't like the fees offered for the gas stations then don't take them. Given enough time those fees will rise if the shops aren't taken. They are a difficult company to communicate with but generally they are a good company in my opinion.
I really only ever found 2 clients near me, and they seem to not have them any more.
The beginning of the month? Not worth it. End of the month? Great when you make a route of those shops!
Corporate Research? Are you sure?

That name was purchased by another company and then retired two or three years ago.

It was purchased by another company but you can still look it up under Corporate Research.
It under a new name but the same old company. [www2.mysteryshops.com]? They do pay on time but low pay and seem to be loosing business, fast.
That's the beauty of being an Independent Contractor. We can decide to work for whichever company we want. We can pick and choose and if we don't like the pay, reports, or anything else about a company, we can choose not to work for them. It's pretty much an individual choice, because what one shopper likes another dislikes.
The only shops I've seen on their site for the past 3 weeks are the gas station shops. pay is still a whopping $4, plus $3 reimbursement for gas/purchase.

I beg to disagree.

If you take the time to kick the tires and look under the hood, you see that it is not the old CoRI anymore. A company with no mystery shopping or related experience bought it. Because they kept the unique website, fast payment schedule, and the fee system of starting low and raising the fees as the month progressed it still looks very much the same to shoppers.

The fact they have lost many of the clients that came with the purchase and added few if any (that I have seen), suggests a major change. I wonder if the folks that founded and built up CoRI to the industry giant it was would recognize the company it has become if they looked at the corporate offices now.

Here in the Chicago area, I don't see the gas station shops (I did those before they became reveal shops). I did do a car wash shop for them only after it was bonused....unfortunately these are the only kinds of shops I'll do for them at the moment as I don't see much else here.

They are good with their bonuses and pay relatively quickly so not a lot of complaints here.
