Not trying to beat a dead horse here.
To those that have performed these shops, It does not matter if you only performed 5 or a 150.
You are still going to run into that occasional dealer that is not cooperative no matter how hard you try.

Sending emails to MULTIPLE shoppers stating THAT shopper is the ONLY SHOPPER in the entire program that can not get a printed offer so that shopper must be doing something is tantamount to fraud.
Being an ARSE is one thing. LYING TO THE SHOPERS DOING THAT WORK is another thing.

If its more than one shopper getting that email than THAT shopper can NOT be the only one!


I've never once seem him offer a suggestion on alternative ways to get that offer or meet the guidelines. , Its just how YOU the shopper MUST be doing it wrong because NO ONE ELSE has that problem!

Sorry , real world does NOT work that simplistic.


The fact that Lisa allows him to act that way destroys her credibility also.

And in my opinion this MSC should really be shut done for fraudulent activity.
Its not that he is rude and unprofessional. He is flat out LYING to the shoppers.

Follow Up from the ORIGINAL POSTER:

In regard to Rich Koster being a no BS person....I am also a no BS person. This problem runs deeper than that. Payments are being denied even when the requirements have been met. I can deal with difficult people just fine.

----- > March 31, 2015 - Numerous emails are sent to Rich about a partial payment issued on a shop (payment was reduced to $37.50) so it was cut in half. Normal pay is $75

------> April 1, 2015 - No response from Rich - which is the norm and very unprofessional. So issue escalates to Angela Ketterl, the director. She did not resolve the problem. In fact, she was terminated/or left the company a week or so later.

-----> May 2015 - Reported the SAME issue to VP of Operations, Andy Barre. Left him a voicemail and he returned my call. We spoke for about 20 minutes. He asked for proof of my issue to be emailed to him.

-----> May 2015 - Andy Barre acknowledged receiving my emails and passed the issue over to Jessica Brumit, another director. I received a call from Jessica but she knew NOTHING of my backstory. I refused (and I admit this wholeheartedly) to recap the story. I already reported it to Rich, Angela and Andy by the time Jessica called.
**** That call got nowhere and embarrassingly enough, Jessica hung the phone up in my face. That won't be forgotten but I am letting it simmer for now. ****

-----> June 2015 - I go back to Andy Barre with the status of my call with Jessica. I send a follow up email to Andy Barre. My issue is AGAIN passed off to someone who knows nothing about the issue, Diane in Accounting.

-----> July 2015 - I send Diane some information on my issue and we start all over from scratch.....saga continues.
COMPLAINING ON VIDEO / Creating Evergreen Content


CLEARLY, I do not have Mr. Barre's attention. It took awhile for me to realize he was issuing a challenge. He's challenging me to show him that I'm not a complete DUMMY. Challenge accepted.

So what have I learned? I see I am going to have to REPEAT my story many, many, many times. No problem. It's time to pull out the video camera and create a video testimonial that details my problem and post it to the internet. That way, I can just send them all a link.

Of course, I'm hiring an actor, professional video cameraman and FINAL CUT PRO video editor. I might even throw in a green screen with special effects. I am hiring professionals because I intend to attach this video to a press release and use it to gain guest blogging opportunities. Video must be professional quality for the media.

Be on the look out for my video project...possibly video series. If you would like me to have your Mystery Researchers Auto Shop complaint depicted by an actor on video....DM me. YOUR CONTACT INFO WILL NOT BE RELEASED.

I JUST NEED TRUE STORY IDEAS TO PORTRAY IN THE VIDEOS. Story lines needed.

This shop sounds exactly like one that I did recently, except with a different MSC. The leasing scenario is a royal pain and I won't be doing this shop again. Too much hassle for too little money. Yes I realize $75 is a high paying shop but for the amount of time wasted and baloney from the dealership, number crunching and not being able to get all the numbers on one piece of paper when the report only allows one photo for the lease deal....not worth it. If this is the same person he was extremely direct but not rude.
