Ritter Associates

Has anyone done any work for Ritter Associates? I keep getting emails from them to do surveys for large amounts of money. Legit?

Probably not. Ritter does not pay particularly well for the length of survey and amount/type of observations required. They do bonus but it is still not gracious living.
I signed up with Ritter months ago, but have never received a thing from them. Not even a confirmation email.
I have done work for Ritter for a few years now. They are paying $12.00 to MS a local gas station. They do pay:-)
Hello - I have done some gas stations and storage facilities for them. If I recall, each paid $8-$12 give or take. They did pay and those surveys weren't too bad. Hope it helps.
I, too, have done gas stations. They pay according to their payment schedule, though it is slow. I wait for these to go to second level bonus, then grab a bunch. They are super fast and simple, and if the stations happen to be where you go anyway, it's fine.

I have a payment issue with Ritter, for one shop. They pay by check, US mail. Please search the forum for details, posted elsewhere, if you're interested.
Their signup is [ritter.shopmetrics.com] but something is odd . . . their front page seems to have lost its graphics. But if you are already signed up I noted that you could sign in and the interior pages were working fine.
doing a shop for them saturday.. we will see how it goes...

If you read the page it will tell you that their system does not work with AOL, so I use Yahoo and do not have any problems. I did a shop for them a few weeks ago, and ended up loosing money, and it was not a close location for me. I'm not going to continue working for them.
Can anyone tell me how to access the jobs that you have done for them to see your status. I did a audit for them where they wanted me to check the temp of the coffee and fried chicken for their client. They said that they would reimburse the price of the thermometer. Turns out that the place only sold gas and cigarettes from a kiosk, so I was just wondering if they paid me for that thermometer but I don't know how to check it. Any ideas?
I don't think you can see your completed jobs. The only thing you can see are paystubs, once those jobs have gone through the payroll cycle.
I found that Ritter is easy to deal with, pays on time, and most of the visits are fairly simple. That much being said, most of the time they open their shops for little money, so, it's often best to wait it out a bit.
did a tobacco compliance shop for them... bonused to 25 bucks for 2 photos and 4 questions...

easiest shop i have done and highest paying... 25 for... uh 10 minutes? 150/hr? lol... havent been paid yet but judging by the posts I will...

My problem with Ritter is that you cannot self assign with them. I have worked for them for more than two years and still cannot self assign. I hate to have to request and then wait until the last minute to see if you get the job. I've pretty much dropped off their radar because of it.
Ritter is great. I have done some of their Sunocco a plus awards. You go in buy a coffee and do a very short report. Not big money but it nice to do them when I am going to a town for the extra money.
Hi Unicorn! You may want to edit the client name out of your post so that you are not in violation of your Independent Contractor Agreement. smiling smiley Lower right corner of your post there is the option to edit.
Ritter doesnt pay real well and has a rude scheduler. I quit checking their site due to the scheduler. And whats with the odd website? Have troubles with it.
I have had only pleasant interactions with schedulers at Ritter, but then, they don't have many shops here and only about once a quarter.

I have worked for Ritter for almost two years. You apply, you wait, and then do the shop. They haved paid me on time.
I work for Ritter regularly I don't do the gas shops because I don't like reveal one but I have done their aplus stores, convience stores and subway. The pay is okay and the shops are easy hardly any report. They also pay on time.
All I have seen here is a chain of Storage facilities. I did all but one of them a couple of months ago and am doing the last one in my area tomorrow. Wish they would offer more in my area. They were easy reports, easy communications and paid on time.
Ritter here is mostly gas station
reveal shops. Not bad. Do them on the way to work, you have to get gas anyways. Time them right, it's worth it. The reveal part is a bit awkward, but it's just a job. Hold off for the one's in the middle of nowhere and they can pay up to $11 plus the gas and in-store purchase.

Sarcza, you probably want to edit the client name out of your post per your ICA agreement with Ritter not to disclose their clients. There is a little blue lettered "Edit Post" in the lower right corner of your post. It is save and not a violation of your ICA to indicate something like "Ritter here is mostly their gas station reveal shops."
The gas stations I have done for Ritter do not require a reveal. 3 photos, (ridiculously) tiny gas purchase, small in-store purchase. Easy form.
