Maritz going to the 21st century and getting a mobile app!

In January, we re-introduced ourselves as MaritzCX to you. Since then you may have noticed several minor changes in our operations. Coming in June will be the first major change that will impact our independent contractors. As of June 19th, you will no longer be able to communicate with us using our “@maritz.com” email addresses. Those email addresses will be shut down for good on that date. However, every email address you have been using will still work if you send them using our new domain “@MaritzCX.com”.
We highly suggest that you add the domain “@Maritzcx.com” to your safe list to prevent any communication from us from getting caught in you spam filters.
In the coming months, you will be receiving other exciting announcements on additional changes that will be coming your way including a faster interface for uploading photos and the launch of our mystery shopping mobile app.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.

Don't count your chickens before they are hatched! They are still trying to get the email thing straightened out!
A mobile app. How cool is that. I will miss all my phone chats with those nice folks in Kansas though....
None of my devices will download any documents from their website because it is not secure. I can only download on my home computer. There is no way that I would use their mobile app, this company is still in the stone age. AND, Who pays by check anymore either?? I have cut way back and don't do the "yellow" gas stations anymore due to the numerous amount of errors with addresses, phone numbers, etc..
Well, I was intrigued by the question, "Who pays by check anymore either?" So far this year, 22 different MSCs have paid me by check. 7 have paid by direct deposit. 36 have paid via PayPal. So 22 out of 65 MSCs have paid me by check so far this year, or 33.9% One of the companies has paid me by both check and PayPal, since they use checks when the amount of a single check exceeds a threshold value. 15% of my fees have come by check so far this year. I think that I am going to keep accepting checks!

IMHO, there are a lot of proprietary websites developed by MSCs. With the exception of having a separate invoicing step, I have no real fault with their website. Why doesn't everyone rant and rave about the separate invoicing step that MF uses? Maybe Maritz should rename the step "Submit Invoice" to "Submit CPI" and everyone will go to sleep happy. smiling smiley

I can see MF claiming a violation, as they made up this silly acronym.

P.S. Jacob. I had to turn those two Unicode characters into a photo to use them!
I don't have time to do the thorough CheckGate investigation that myst did but off the top of my head, the companies that pay me the most money usually pay me by check. One company pays weekly. I am guessing when it comes to paying larger amounts of money, it is more cost effective for the company to still pay by checks.

Another MSC that pays by PayPal, sends out each payment individually for the same pay period instead of lumping the entire amount into one payment. I never quite understood that practice. But as long as I get paid in full and on time, I really don't care.
