Yes. I have found them reasonable to work with. I haven't done lots because they don't offer lots in my area. But what I have done has been a decent working relationship.
They pay in a timely manner and the shops are relatively simple, but I'm not a big fan of the clients they have near me these days.

My cat refuses to be a part of the vet shop ever again and I had to take a pet food shop with another MSC where I could buy him tuna & catnip to make up for the bad experience he had while shopping with me. :^)

In the past, they used to have a family style Italian restaurant where you could bring 5 guests and still come in under budget. I miss those shops!

They never had that here. Sounds great, I wish they did. Vets, vets, and more vets. I have no pets, so needless to say, I have never shopped

They don't have much here, but I have not had a problem with communication, reports or payment - even though it's check in the mail.

This is something that it might make sense to communicate to schedulers who have pet store shops as well as vet shops. I would expand my search area beyond where I normally look to see if I saw shops that would help with the endeavor. I have done some $10 reimbursement pet shops with MFI and seen the vet shops with Secret Shopper, but it seems to me that I have seen vet and pet shops elsewhere as well. You may find a pet friendly scheduler with a soft heart who will give you a heads up when things like that are about to post.
SOS is self-assign and they are really good with posting the dates in advance that shops will be offered, so it's easy to line them up if you are interested.

Dog rescue and these vet shops would be an excellent pair-up, and help as a cover for why you show up with a different animal each time.
Multiple shops, different animal each time was my thinking as well Steve. I would think any scheduler would love an easy shopper with multiple eligible critters available provided there was not a rotation on the shopper. And enough of these folks solicit shoppers to donate for their company's drive for this or that or the other charity that supporting grass roots dog rescue where there is not some tax deductible charity to encourage donations might appeal to their better side.
Some great ideas. Thanks!! I did, just about an hour ago, sign up with the company. My first shop with them is a general physical exam which pays $25.00 with $100.00 reimbursement. Thanks Guys!!! Will let them know that I am in rescue:-)
That's the standard assignment, Danabnnc.

If the vet mentions the coupon on the phone call, print it from the web and bring it along.

That will keep you from being out the $100 for each shop you do while waiting for reimbursement. You will get the $25 shop fee as a payment and pay nothing at the vet, usually (It's also helpful to know that if you are in dog rescue and just need check-up without the hassle of doing a shop!).
Very good company to work for. I don't have enough shops with them regularly, but I have done the vet one and others for them and have never had a problem.
Thanks for the tip SteveSoCal. Will do. After going over the instructions, the shop doesn't look hard at all. Pretty routine.
I am doing a fitness club shop for them. The screener is quite long and requires narative.

They keep sending me the vet shops, but I have this feeling when you bring your pet in, they try to sell you more than the check up.
In my experience, The vets can spot the shoppers and try to shuffle you out of the office as quickly as possible.

The was no pressure on me to purchase anything on my visits. I just felt like they knew it was a shop and went through the motions. The cat was cooler than me, considering it was his first mystery shop and he had to get his temperature taken.

I mean, who brings a beloved pet to a new doctor and has no vet records for the pet?

For the fitness club, you are required to give them a contact number to asses a follow up and they will hound you repeatedly afterward. Be warned!

That sounds like the perfect recipe for the 'rescue' dog or cat.

OMG, this fitness club keep calling and leaving voicemails 4 wks after the shop. Surely by then they realize I am not interested in joining sad smiley
That is the job of the salespeople. They work on commission, and will probably call you for the rest of your life. :-(

And when they quit to find other employment, their 'book of prospects' will just be handed along to the next salesman as 'hot leads'.
After reading this, I am tempted to borrow my neighbor's dog. Dont give me wrong, I am a dog person, but this dog love to do his "business" in my yard, so I would not mind he got poked/prodded and be made uncomfortable LOL
Steve:

I already completed the shop. You have to give your real telephone number, which must match up with your address. I usually give out my google phone, which has a recorded message on it. I had a feeling that I would be getting all these calls; the fitness rep was very high pressure.

O yeah...you will be getting calls, guaranteed sad smiley

I mentioned on my report that the rep was very high pressure to sign me that day. I told them that if this is how I am approach as a customer, I will make a point by signing up with their competitors who treat me with a better and relax attitude. I do not like being pressured to buy anything...wrong way to close a deal in my book.
I will take the first call to complete the report. I will then let me answering machine pick up.
Since I no longer have my dog...Secret Shopper has nothing to offer me. Where were they when I needed them. Hope they get more variety in the future.

Live consciously....
ss was very understanding... even through i canceled them several times they were willing to work with me and get me back in the system...

with the gym ...i think i gave them a wrong number... i remembered it from somewhere... maybe it was pizza huts number... who knows... i gave them the wrong address as well... lol... master of disaster at giving out false info... *grins*
