I am having to redo my whole profile on ACE. I do not have my last shop information either. Has this happened to anyone else? Also I forget when they pay I did a shop the first of May I am think I should get paid the end of July... Frustrated.

Hi Sanders77. I was waiting for payment for shops I did first of May, and I emailed the company just around the first of July. I got a response and payment a couple of days later, just before the fourth. They told me it was a mistake, and apologized for the delay.

regarding your profile and disbursement history being gone, that has not happened to me. I just did four shops for them this last weekend. I hope this isn't forewarning for bad times ahead. Shoot them an email regarding your May work. If you need a contact mail, PM me.

proudly shopping in the D.
Just check everything is good on mine.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I gave up on ace and any of those companies that track the distance the way they do. They never work for me and I hate scrolling through all the available jobs to find one in my area. Hopefully you all have better luck than I do.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just forget to load the film.
I am getting my money today., I had to do a w-9 . The company was very nice about my mistake. Mystery shopping forms drive me crazy. smiling smiley
I had to send them a letter noting specific legal citations and why they either pay me or get sued in as public a manner as possible. Yes, they paid. I do NOT recommend. Some of the people working for them have a severe lack of logic skills.
I decided to stop shopping for this company altogether. Seems they only have a few shops near me and none that I like. I disliked having to ask about payment and being told it was a mistake...seems that's an excuse to avoid paying. I could not deal with all the desperation emails sent out constantly either. There are too many good and legitimate companies that appreciate my quality work to take shops from these folks...nice as they were, they always seemed a bit unprofessional.
On Mine they accepted the shop. Then they never paid. I looked it up later and it was in some kind of purgatory. Then when I asked them why they didn't pay they said it had to do with some employee figuring out who I was (I commented on returning a specific item to be cooked again and what happened). With what they wrote back to me the report was used by the entire staff of the establishment..but somehow they claimed because they figured out it was me after the fact and after using the report they didn't have to pay me...Idiots. They were hoping I wouldn't look back and forget about it. Completely underhanded. They never e-mailed me about the report and it wasn't found when I would login. Their arguments were entirely nonsensical. Of all the mystery shops I've worked with they are far and away the worst. Their shop selection is usually horrid as well with payments like $40 reimbursement and none or $5 fee for lousy restaurants.
Sanders77 - I'm so sorry for your frustration. I'm not aware of profiles being wiped out. It does seem that some phones, tables or slower internet have caused glitches for some accessing our software but that is at a minimum. We would be happy to assist you, please call our office and explain what happened. If you want to PM me, I would be happy to assist you as well! Here is our toll free number: 1-866-240-7324
I would like to address the comments about needing to ask for your disbursement. When we stopped sending disbursements through PayQuicker it changed the way our process works. PayQuicker verified each shopper receiving a disbursement. This eliminated additional steps of us needing to email and ask for a W-9 from each shopper before sending their disbursement. This extra step added additional time for our disbursement team to be able to verify which shoppers had turned in their W-9 and which ones we were still waiting on. We have gotten better at connecting the dots but it's not as streamlined as we would like. We are continuing to make improvements and getting faster with the process.

If you are uncertain if you received a disbursement, please contact us ASAP. We would be happy to check on that for you and get it resolved. I admit, it took us several months to get this new system down and to track the W-9's with shopper disbursements. We are trying and dependent on shoppers checking their emails and getting us the W-9. If you have sent a W-9 and not received your disbursement, it’s an oversight and I do apologize. It’s simply not having a system that is streamlined and your profile wasn’t marked yet. Please email: accounting@acemysteryshopping.com if you need assistant or have any questions, we would love to be able to help!
I am not familiar with your situation or experience. We might have needed to collect your W-9 before sending that disbursement but if you did a shop, followed the client guidelines and submitted your W-9 there is no reason you wouldn't receive your disbursement. I don't recall a legal citation but it wouldn't be needed, we enjoy the completion of a shopper disbursement.
