Losing MSC for some reason!

I could not figure out why some companies that I have worked with no longer send me emails. I have forgotten some of the names of the companies because I signed up for over 100 of them. Tonight it dawned on me one that I did a lot of work for I had not heard from in months. I went in to try to fix my account and when it came to editing the profile it showed my email name as having bounced! So, I had to make a new email account and add that to my profile for now. When they open or when I get a shop offer I will contact someone for help. Now I know why I am not able to get into MF, AboutFace and more. I have NO idea why all of these are bouncing. Just wanted to share what has happened of late in my world. At least I still got the email from the company handling the new shipping shops.

What email are you using? AOL is notorious for bouncing email. Some others have issues also. Gmail works extremely well for me.

I am using Gmail! I have always used it. That is what is so baffling to me.

You don't have to change your email address. You should be able to verify the old one. Sometimes emails bounce.
I had this issue last year with Verizon. My emails did not go into trash or spam, they just disappeared. It took 6 months and many calls to Verizon help before I found an "expert" who identified the problem which turned out to be a common one. Keep checking with your email provider until you magically get connected to someone who knows what to search for. Same thing just happened to me with a retailer I like a lot. I stopped getting emails and after 4 different conversations to help the 4th person easily identified the problem the first three overlooked.
My emails evidently bounced for months for random companies and some removed me from their lists after getting a few bounced emails. One msc that only sends out emails about jobs instead of having a list on a website must have bounced me. They are now using a scheduling site. I applied for my first shop with them in over a year due to not seeing shops for that long. They cancelled my accepted shop saying that I had flaked on a job during the time when I did not even get messages about jobs. They refused to look into the issue for me and kept insisting I was off their records due to a flaked job. In all the years I have mystery shopped I have never flaked. So good riddance to that company. They had few shops in my area anyway.
Bottom line, be careful about bounced emails. If you can make sure to reconfirm your email with the companies you deal with after you get this fixed.
Verizon provides very little online storage space to users of its email. When they run out of space, the system bounces the emails. I have several friends who use Verizon, and I have learned that when one of my emails gets bounced, to text them. Invariably, they then look and find that they are again out of space, often because friends have been sending them emails with photographs attached. Several have given up and switched to Gmail.

I have an email client my mail gets downloaded to so I clear out the actual verizon account often so it is not a problem. Gmail and the other free email sites seem to get a lot of scammers or whatever they call the emails you get supposedly from your friend that just have a link to website you should never open up. That has happened to a huge percentage of people I know on gmail, yahoo and even aol but I have not gotten one of those from any of my verizon friends. (YET)
