Has anyone ever had a problem with North American

I did a shop for them on 12/30/09. I have sent them a couple of emails regarding pay status. As of yet they are to respond. Has anyone ever done a shop for them. I was just wondering if they pay net 60 instead of net 30. I would really be nice if they would email me back and let me know what the status of my payment is. I f they are going to reject it I would have thought that they would have at least notified me by now.

These guys are a successor to the old Hilli Dunlap which had all sorts of payment issues. I have not bothered signing up with them because indications were that payment was 2-3 months for a 'good cycle'.

These guys seem to work on the, "You get paid when we get paid," principle, so you may have another 30 days to wait for payment, but they do come around with payment eventually.

I have always been paid within 30 - 45 days with this company and I ususally complete 3-4 shops per month with them. No problems for me so far.

Steve and Flash, I had not heard of them, but after reading what you both wrote, I will not be signing on with them, as I do not believe that the MSC getting paid is a pre-req to me getting paid. MY contract is with the MSC. THEIRS is with the client. I do not need to wait for their A/R's to come in...I am due my $ on the timetable I agreed to. Thank you!

Yes, that's bad enough. But what is even worse is that they did not respond to the poster's e-mails. At least when you get a response (no matter what kind of BS excuse they give for non-payment) you know there's someone on the other side listening. I just hate when I send an e-mail and it's like it got sucked into a black hole.
