SG Marketing - is anyone seeing anything on their board?

SG is one of the companies I am signed up for, and like the others, I search their board each day for jobs near me. However, it is the one site where I have never seen anything actually come up in my searches. Not just near me, mind you; I use the button that allows me to search the entire United States, and the search still returns absolutely nothing. Is anyone else seeing any jobs posted for them? I'm thinking this might just be because of my newb status with them, but I thought it might be a good idea to check, since once board (I think it's another of Market Force's companies, actually), seems to think my location is somewhere in Utah.

SG Marketing is now a part of the Market Force International group. To the best of my knowledge, all of their schedulers are gone and their shops are handled by the "Blue Portal" which is the old Shop 'n Chek. SG Marketing handled primarily bank shops. Some of the overload of that stuff (tax shops) last year was being scheduled by Kern Scheduling if I recall correctly.
Thanks once again, Flash! I guess that sort-of makes sense...except that they're still encouraging new shoppers to "sign up for all three portals" to make sure we see all of their job offers. A little annoying that I went through the sign-up process for nothing, but at least now I won't waste my time on that site on a daily basis!

You're such a wealth of information. I've already used your post on MS & taxes to decide that I'm using the accrual method, and of course your spreadsheet is a huge help! smiling smiley
I am delighted you find it useful. That was, after all, the purpose of making info available smiling smiley And I certainly would encourage you to start with the basics and add on what makes sense for you. We all think a bit differently and luckily it is not a one-size-fits-all world.
