How are the non-pizza shops for this NSS?

I've been afraid to attempt my first shop with NSS. Firstly, you can't self-assign right away and it's been weeks. I have to call them. Secondly, I read about the difficulties of the pizza photoshoots.

I'm interested in a juice shop (11 questions, light commentary) and restaurant shop (50 q's, light commentary). How have your experiences been with non-pizza shops? I am wondering if these would be easy shops to knock out.

As a side note I do think it is outrageous though that the dinner restaurant only reimburses $20, though it is a pretty costly place and that could not afford two people.

I enjoy working for NSS. So far I have done some of every type of shop available to me. I f i nd the reports easy and the instructions clear. I have not had a problem with the photos for the pizza shop. I find them far easier than some. They also pay on time which counts for a lot.
I also have not had any issues with this company. They are nice and the reports are simple to do for the shops I have done. My issue is with the reimbursement at the posted rate. The juice place I have not done and might be okay but if you have the same restaurant I do it is impossible to eat a meal there for that $20 reimbursement. Even with one person if it is not their happy hour you cannot eat a full meal unless you are a veeeery light eater. The pizza also is partially out of pocket in my area if it is for delivery with no fee.
I only work for them when they call me. I don't find it worth the time to check the job board. Then I have to do a negotiation. I'm near the bottom of their call list as I will stand firm on my counter offer as its as low as I will go.
I am signed up with this company. I've never done a shop for them because I never can see how much the job pays. Do you have to accept a job before you find out what the pay is? I do NOT perform reimbursement only shops!

From what I can tell, the pizza shops are reimbursement only. (I only do them when they call and offer a decent bonus). I think you have to open the guidelines for each shop and read through to find the pay for that particular shop. I find that irritating and too time consuming, so I really don't do much for them unless they call or email me and quote me a fee.
I read everything that was available without actually accepting a shop. No pay visible in guidelines or instructions.

I see bonus offers on the site and payment informaton in the guidelines.

I've only done their high end cosmetic and high-end clothing and handbag shops. I have done it with a bonus, otherwise they pay is very low. There are some purchase shops for high end cosmetics and they don't have pay, just reimbursement. I've seen the high-end grocery store but the pay is so low but it still gets taken so somebody must find it worthwhile. The grocery store also has no pay just reimbursement. The coffee bar in the grocery shop only pays $3!
The reports are pretty straight forward so if you can get a bonus it is worth while.
I've found them to be a good company to work for. The pizza shops are actually super easy once you get the hang of them. I've done several different retail shops and they're very straightforward. .
