"You missed half the meat though."
LOL! I don't understand that statement.
And you know, we all do it. We are supposed to carefully read the guidelines before we hit the road to do the shop. But we've done this shop dozens of times, know it backward and forward...so we glance at the paperwork. I'm sure the report showed the question when I glanced at it -- but like I said, I've done it dozens of times, so where it asked "did the server offer to make your sandwich deluxe with 50% more meat", I just
READ it as "did server offer double meat". And off I went. So my cheat sheet said "exact greeting - check.
time entered line, check. #of customers ahead of me, check. Double meat? check. Double cheese, check.
Bacon? Check. Small talk, quote, check.
And we're told over and over, "your paperwork may have changed...please read your guidelines carefully" - but this change was NOT in the guidelines. I do read them rather carefully, to check for changes. The change may be in the latest guidelines, I'm not sure, as this shop was performed last month. Evidently it was before
the "celebrate 50 years of Subway with 50% more meat for $.50" promotion began.
It's been an interesting discussion, all around, though, and I appreciate everyone's input.
