experience with BARE INTERNATIONAL

I have been doing this assignment with Jen for over a year. BARE pays like a clock every month. With that said, welcome aboard and welcome to the easiest report you will ever do!

I have worked for BARE International for over 5 years now. They are a great company to work for and I perform mystery shopping assignments for a number of large international brands. I whole heatedly recommend this company if you are interested in becoming a Mystery Shopper.

(Mod note: The specific brand names have been removed as linking an MSC with its clientele is a violation of the Forum rules and probably also a breach of your ICA with that MSC.)
I completed several assignments for BARE last Fall and they were good to work with. I particularly enjoyed the certification exams shops. Wish there were more assignments from BARE in my area.......
I wish they had more assignments in my area! Or more that paid better.... But they do pay on time, and other than my first check (which I had to call about), I've never had to chase them for money.

I used to do many of their shops that have been taken back by the company that out-sourced them to Bare, and haven't been able to schedule one with the new MSC. But I enjoyed them and had no trouble with editors unless I missed something. I was always given the opportunity to fix or explain the issue. Never received any negative comments on my writing (I'm always skeptical when people accuse editors of being "too picky" about grammar), and never had a shop rejected.

The biggest issue I had with them were shops that paid too little for too much work. I did a series of phone shops for them, but they were far too much work for the pay. They kept asking me to do these again, until I told the project manager that if and when they upped the pay rate, I was no longer going to do them. They haven't asked since, and they haven't raised the rate!

All they have locally here are occasional cell-phone shops that pay too little and the restaurant alcohol-compliance shop. One of the restaurants is just a few minutes from me, but I don't have anyone of the proper age I can bring. My son will be old enough next year, so I can bring him. They sometimes have a hotel shop about 25 miles from me. It sounds like one of the "easier" hotel shops (if there is such a thing), but the timing always seems off. I may try to get one, though. Will keep looking....

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
