Asking for a bonus

How much do you ask for these low paying gas stations? Especially if your willing to do several.

Ask what you think would be fair to you. They will either accept or reject your offer.

Don't fall into the trap of asking for "gas" money. Think of it as "total cost of car ownership money". IF uncertain, use the IRS rate of $0.54 per mile. Then decide how much you need to earn per hour including driving time, prep time, execution time, and reporting time.

I don't think there is a hard fast rule for how much to ask for as there are many factors to consider. For instance, is the last week of the month approaching? Or better yet, the last week of the quarter. Are there a good number of stations on the board that have not been taken at the regular price? Are some in remote areas and are you willing to travel there? Can you link several together and make a route? Has a bonus already been added to the shop and you need more? Do you have a history with the MSC? And finally, whatever formula you use, do you know the minimum you need to do X amount of shops?
