I have to agree with Lisa that offering obvious hints is tantamount to directly divulging the MSC name. The specific guideline reads, "Do not reveal the clients...."
Using terms like 'Golden Arches' or 'that MSC whose name rhymes with beagle and starts with an R,' is essentially revealing the MSC's client....and I think a main reason for the rule is most likely to not make this discussion board focused on revealing clients, and thusly not irk the very MSCs that we rely on for work.
Asking if a client is still shopped or has changed MSCs is reasonable IMO. It lets you know that if you aren't seeing the shop, then you are not signed up with enough companies. Anything else is basically breaking the rule and defending yourself with a technicality.
