BWW

Did their company change or did they stop the program? I remember signing up for them and now I don't see the e-mails.

They switched companies several months ago, at least. I can't recall exactly. They are still shopped, but now you no longer are required to take a photo of the exterior.
I was guessing they switched companies, and I know we can't mention who the company is. I'll see if it's in my list of companies or if my google-fu can assist.

I know they are NOT on Sassie (didn't see a lot on prestomaps), or the shops were taken already.
They did switch companies, my husband did a shop there the other day. The new shop report kind of sucks but I like their food.

I know we can't name the company but can we give hints?

What's the difference between naming the company and giving hints? It still violates the spirit of the guidelines.

Are they still on Sassie? That would not violate the forum rules.

Well I didn't know if saying something like "it's the same company that shops ABC Store" is against the rules. Don't hate the new member, I just wanted to confirm. For instance, I didn't know I could say what system they're on.

So, yes, they are still on Sassie.

What specifically could be interpreted as hating on the new member? I didn't notice whether you were new or not since there are plenty of not at all new members who provide the most ridiculous "hints" imaginable. Things like ABC MSC shops Colonel Sanders' chicken place. Even someone who had recently beamed down to Earth would be able to make the connection.

IMO, just naming the platform isn't a problem. At least it narrows down the list from 200 to about 100, LOL!

I just found the wording of your reply to be argumentative, hard to read tone blah blah. Sorry for misinterpreting. Still learning the rules around here!

Rules, we don't need no stinking rules. Actually a few probably wouldn't hurt. Naming names is really the only hard and fast rule even if it ends up getting broken now and again.

Thanks! Knowing they are still on Sassie lets me know that the shops for this round were taken.
I have to agree with Lisa that offering obvious hints is tantamount to directly divulging the MSC name. The specific guideline reads, "Do not reveal the clients...."

Using terms like 'Golden Arches' or 'that MSC whose name rhymes with beagle and starts with an R,' is essentially revealing the MSC's client....and I think a main reason for the rule is most likely to not make this discussion board focused on revealing clients, and thusly not irk the very MSCs that we rely on for work.

Asking if a client is still shopped or has changed MSCs is reasonable IMO. It lets you know that if you aren't seeing the shop, then you are not signed up with enough companies. Anything else is basically breaking the rule and defending yourself with a technicality.
Exactly. I was used to seeing them up on Sassie, but I haven't seen them on there for a while. They could have stopped their shopping program, or gone over to Shopmetrics, or another system, or over to a MSC that has their own software.

Now that will just keep an eye on Prestomobile...

You can try expanding out your zipcode radius, or try other towns to find one that's still on the board so you'll know the MSC for next month.

I found them. My profile went into "dormant" status and once I logged in I started getting the e-mails. One location in a shopping plaza about an hour from me. I want the one that is closest to me :-)
The only hint I believe we can provide is if the MSC lists the shops on a job board. We could then identify the job board to check on.

If you don't log in regularly, your profile goes into dormant status? I didn't know that.
I still use the same link I used with the previous MSC and it automatically redirects me. Have you tried just going to the original site?
Since no one has actually mentioned either the msc or the client, who is BWW? maybe they are not around here but the closest I can guess is BMW but unless they have car hops they do not serve food.
Look on Prestomap. Signed, Night Owl at 5:10 pm (Is this allowed?)
BWW shop emails went out this evening. The ones in my area are currently only dinner shops.

Shops were just posted yesterday.
Did the dinner take-out last night. Yum! (It is a Sassie company.)
