Intelli-Shop Assisted Living Shops * mini-rant *

Email says " Great Pay ! Assisted Living Shops ! 70.00 ( or 30.00 or whatever ) only to read email and discover NO 70.00 or 30.00 shops, but all 25.00 shops, so why mislead ? Seems a regular occurrence with whomever sends these assisted living emails out from Intelli-Shop.

Yes, it doesn't seem to bright on their part. To work with a company there has to be a degree of mutual trust and while a misleading title to an email may encourage you to open it, the disgust that ensues when you see what the job actually is will do nothing to build trust. If it happened only once in a rare while it could be assumed to be an accident or oversight. When it happens with any frequency the sense that the company is deceitful grows.
It's easy to get to $70. You are giving the MSC a buy two get the third at a discount rate, $25, $25 and $20winking smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Ridiculous. Intelli-Shop needs to be str8 with their shoppers. There should be no need to "sell" these shops, like Albertsons or Jewel stores do with their .89 cents Pepsi sales....but must buy 4 to get .89 cent price..otherwise 1.89/each. If anyone from Intelli-Shop is here, please stop doing this misleading email pitch.
If I saw that, it would make me never take the shop for $25... I'd assume that it's going to climb up and eventually get to at least $70 (maybe higher!)

Ding, ding, ding. No more calls, we have a winner.

I have been with Intellishop for about 12 years and lately it seems their editors cannot or do not want to read what I have written or what they have written. I did one of these recently only to have the editor ask about 3 times different questions that were already included in my original report.. Their home improvement shops state dates they want the job done for a specific target and the times listed for the target do not match the dates they want the job done. Their car shop are REDICULOUS. They want the EXACT routing you took for a test drive (yes write down every street you turned on while driving and without letting the sales rep. know you are mystery shopping). . . . 'Done ranting but I could go on and on. They used to be one of my favorite company but not anymore.
I do the AL shops for them at $80 and up. It pays to wait. So many shoppers fear AL shops, and many others dislike this MSC, so that, and the rotation requirements, mean that highly bonussed shops appear often.

I've done a lot of car shops for Intellishop. Usually they went ok, and the pay was usually bonused. I've never had to tell them the exact route I took on the test drive. I'd never be able to, because I don't know the areas! They do want to know if you took the highway, went fast, went on a bumpy road, etc. to see if the salesperson was able to show you how the car ran on these conditions.
Like mainland, I often don't know an area well enough to give street names and don't understand what good it would do them anyway. Instead I opt to tell them about the route in terms of what type of driving the associate was trying to demonstrate, interstate, winding road, etc. On my most recent shop I explained we were doing some city streets so he could show me how the blind spot warning works.

If and when I do a shop for Intelli I ask for a bonus. I want to see the bonus in my log before I shop. I have gotten $40. to $70 for a car shop. Wouldn't shop it for less. I have not shopped many.
I had an editor recently suggest that there could be a question as to whether I actually performed the shop I had completed, based on what the editor perceived as conflicting narratives. Never mind that I geo-verified the shop, and recorded the interaction with the target. All the editor needed to do was to ask for clarification. I was insulted but let it go.
