Last time that a new editor deducted points for non-existent errors, I let the scheduler know why the jobs in my area were still sitting there. That took care of it quickly. I'm sure the editor was simply trying to score points with her new bosses -- do it on reports that are shabby. When edits are helpful (for instance, Coyle) or justified (Ann Michaels), I do appreciate the correction. When it's rubber-stamped or a style choice, no thank you.
Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
