Frontline Focus International

Hello everyone:

I stopped doing shops for this company sometime last year. Now I need my 1099. I have tried to contact the schedulers, but all the e-mails have been returned.

Can anyone provide a contact? Are they out of business?

Thanks! : ))

Did you do receive more than $600 from them in 2015? If not, they will not issue you a 1099. Even if you did, and the didn't or won't issue you a 1099, you are still required to report the income. If they sent a copy of your 1099 to the IRS, then the IRS will expect to see the information listed on your return. Just make sure that you report the income.

I have never heard of them, BTW. They actually appear to have gone bankrupt in 2014: [www.farberfinancial.com] but someone could have bought them or their name. They also seem to have a Facebook page: [www.facebook.com] where multiple people were publicly asking to be paid in 2015. The company seems to have stopped updating information in 2014.

Thanks for your input.

I came across the page you mentioned and looked into Facebook. It doesn't look good. It seems that they are out of business. I stopped doing shops for the because it took forever to get paid. However, all my schedulers are very nice.

The only difference is that in Puerto Rico we don't fill federal taxes. I have to look at my records and find out what is the rule down here. I hate tax season... sad smiley(

Regards.
Don't worry about it. Just go ahead with your Schedule C, claiming the income you received from that company as well as any other companies. Last year I worked for 28 companies performing one or more shops. Only one of the companies I worked with sent a 1099 because only one paid me more than $600 in fees. So your Schedule C will show no 1099s and all income on line 1a that reads, "Enter other gross receipts or sales not reported on a 1099-MISC."

ETA: I assume that your PR taxes have something similar to a 1040 and therefore would have something similar to a Schedule C for self employment.
