Bare Associates/Linda Pegram

Several times over the past couple of weeks, I have received notices for health clubs in the greater Los Angeles area. Each time, I have written to Linda and asked her to please not send these, as I live in Hawaii. Each time she has not bothered to acknowledge my email to her.

Today I got yet another. I sent yet another email, asking her to please stop sending notices for shops I could not possibly complete, and to use Sassie to better identify the zip codes. I stated that I had written several times, that she doesn't put the location in the title, had not bothered to respond, and that I am as busy as she is.

I get an immediate email saying, "You should not be receiving any more emails now." My gut knew that she had either deactivated me, or deactivated my email.
I logged in and found she had turned off my email notices.

How incredibly rude and disrespectful! I KNOW how to use the Sassie SW. I can turn off notices myself if that is what I sought to do.

What an incredibly self-absorbed and self-important scheduler. Of course shoppers and their time do not matter to someone like that.

I have received emails from different states (not from Bare), and asked them to stop. I was told they are Auto-sent and the only way to stop receiving them is to turn off the on button and stop all emails. This is again something we have to live with, and getting so angry over this is out of her control. You could have stopped it yourself, but, choose not too, what did you expect?

It is not out of her control, Irene. She needs to learn to use the SW. I do not get out of area (except airport) offers from other schedulers at Bare. Most companies I shop for are on Sassie. I don't get out of area notices from the majority of schedulers at other companies. This issue is NOT a software issue with Sassie, it is a training and/or laziness issue. You can choose to believe the BS they fling around, but know, it is BS.

Most if not all the notices or offers I get from BARE are not for my state much less my specified region. I have called and emailed and gotten the same response and yes the scheduler has taken me off the email list. It is rude and annoying. I agree.
I didn't know a lot about this company, so I googled: "Bare Ass. jobs"

My oh My!

Those are how most of the email offers I get from many Sassie companies are. I'm in Indiana and I usually get emails for jobs in Florida, New Mexico, Maine, etc. The emails all start out with "Jobs in your area"...... When I'm scheduling routes, I usually stay a little closer in my area than that. winking smiley
I live in Florida, and have one company that sends me offers for San Antonio airport twice a week, and another that is constantly trying to get me to do shops on the PA Turnpike. About 25% of the shop offers I get are useless because they are not even within 200 miles. Schedulers get turned over so rapidly at some of these companies that they just get thrown in and told to get shops set up. Thank goodness I have a shop email address.
Yes, the separate shop email address helps get the stuff isolated in its own area. I run 3 basic addresses--shop, personal and junk mail/sign ups for offers, contests and such.

First thing this morning I went through my shop email and deleted 14 shop emails--9 of them without even opening because of either the particular scheduler's propensity to send me nationwide junk or from the little bit of subject I could see.
Bare is not the only mystery shop company that sends these emails. I can 13 emails from a mystery shop today about an oil change. I too asked that I not receive these emails and still get them.
It is scheduler laziness or incompetence that creates this. They can take the time to learn the SW or not. They can take the time to zero in on the correct zip codes, or not. When they think they are more important or more time pressed than their shoppers, they will not do the former. It is rude and incompetent, IMHO.

I just got an offer for a Hotel in Hawaii...mighty tempting, but, to pay my own fare and expenses for one night, NOT!! This is another inconvience we shoppers must live with...I'm used to so much crapola, not much bothers me these days, but, yes it is annoying.
