Do you think I'll get dinged for this Maritz shop?

I was scheduled to do a hardware store for Maritz, scheduled through Kerns. I just did one of these shops two weeks ago, and yet I had to take the quiz again. I did the quiz on my iPad and I mistakenly hit the wrong answer regarding the time slot for the assignment. I swear I kept hitting the correct button, but after 3 tries it locked me out.

I promptly called Maritz (this was on Wednesday). Since it was 6:50 PM EST, they were not there but I left a detailed message on their voicemail giving my name, shopper number and assignment number. A day went by, and nothing. I was frustrated and decided just to cancel the shop, as it was not worth the aggravation, especially since I just did the same location, same type of shop but different scenario (exterior flood lights). I log onto Maritz and click on the button that states you are no longer interested in the assignment.

I thought everything was fine, but today I received an email for the scheduler telling me my assignment was overdue. At this point it's been 3 days since my voicemail to Maritz. The scheduler said she'd reset it for me. Since I didn't want to the Kerns scheduler in a bind, I wrote back and said I could do the shop this Monday April 11th. She wrote back and said it had to be done this weekend. I replied that I was completely booked this weekend (which I am). I then attached a copy of my cell phone record showing that I made a 2-minute phone call to Maritz on Wednesday night.

At this point I couldn't care less if Maritz is mad. It's not my fault that they obviously either don't check voicemail or choose not to return phone calls. I don't want to jeopardize my relationship with Kern, as they have always been very kind and accommodating.

I don't know about Maritz but all the communication from KSS says to go through them. I too got locked out of the Maritz test recently and contacted the KSS scheduler and she reset it immediately.
