How much are 20 Hero points worth? Will they counter a Flake Citation?

Did you ever get a gold star for being a good student in 1st grade? A hero citation is worth 10 gold stars.

Umm. No idea. But the gold star thing myst4au wrote is funny. I have been offered so many hero citations but never received one, I always want a bonus instead. I still get plenty of work, though.
Gold Stars, that was pretty funny! Their both the same value, now its all making sense to me. No "Get out of flake citation" award.
Actually, if you have some low scores on reports, then getting is a hero citation is supposedly the equivalent of getting a 10 on a report, so it will improve your average score. If you have done 100 shops and have an average score of 8.000, then getting a 10 on the 101st report (in the form of a hero citation) will raise your average to 8.019 which I contend is meaningless. I have seen offers of as many as 10 hero citations at once. In the same example, your average score would rise from 8.000 to 8.910 (rounded up to a 9 in Sassie) and I still don't think it would matter.

I do a lot of last-minute bonused work and usually get 10s on reports when they grade them, and I suspect my willingness to do the last-minute stuff is the reason I get offered other good opportunities. That's what I think "hero citations" represent - you pile them up and the scheduler knows you're a good go-to when she's in a bind, and she'll bonus you to get it done.

I never heard of hero citations until I joined this forum. Does that mean I'm a rotten shopper or have I not signed up with the companies that offer them? They sound like virtual stickers.
If citations don't translate into cash, then they're not the carrot on a stick that MSCs think they are. At least not in my book. (no sour grapes here. just an honest assessment. i work strictly for cash, not prizes)

Hero citations are an artifact of the Sassie platform. Not all Sassie companies use them. Some try to use them frequently.
