So far, there has been no change in guidelines, fee or reimbursement when a company moves to the isecretshop platform with the companies I work for.
@AustinMom do they pay on the same schedule?
Yes, I've seen no difference in anything except the platform.

It would be stated on the guidelines of the shop that you accepted to perform. Perhaps it might be useful to have your MSC listed in a binder or something similar. I keep an index card spiral notebook with the MSC listed alphabetically, their website address to login, my password for each MSC and their payment schedules and method of payments. I usually put their contact phone number and my shopper ID# in case of computer problems/last minute emergencies/ unable to complete report on time/don't have access to get online and you need to contact someone regarding the situation.

The only difference that I have seen is HOW you get paid when you do a shop through the iSecretShop platform. I've done shops for Intouch/Insight and received payment via DD. They have a statement on their home page that now states that since they are going over to the ISS platform, payment will be through Paypal....at least for this one company.

Pretty much. It allows you to do reports directly from your phone. I did a trampoline park yesterday on ISS and it was so easy. It took me 5 minutes. It's great for when you're not at home and don't have access to your laptop or desktop.
I hate it. I used to see all kinds of great shops for Goodwin hospitality and dynamic advantage and I never see those anymore. I tried to take a shop for a different company on ISS and it said " Date was too close to another date". I tried the 2nd date, same message. I give up.
The only thing I have an issue with is that they limit the number of shops you can self-assign between ALL the companies they represent.
The scheduling is a PITA. Like val said the limit is annoying. I have over 500 pts and can still only assign 3 shops at once. So its a matter of calling or emailing the msp.
Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Must not have anything to do with points. I have less and can schedule four.

Hi! You are not limited to the number of shops you can have assigned, you simply need to put in requests for shops when you reach your self-assign limit.

I agree. I completed 13 in the last 2 days.
Yeah, if I am having an issue with scheduling a shop on iSS, I e-mail the scheduler directly and typically have no problem getting it. Overall, I do like the iSS platform, especially for the reports that are mobile-compatible (most of them).
I do have to agree with calicakes about not seeing any Goodwin shops for the last few months. They didn't change platforms again, did they?

I live in SC, and have seen some shops for Goodwin on the iSS platform as recently as this week.

I used to do great shops for those as well, I don't see them any more. They were fun and easy and paid $100. They needed them done all the time and I did two each summer.
Well, I just got assigned my FIRST shop through the iSS system! It's for a company that does professional sporting events....pay and requests seem very reasonable....event isn't until towards the end of June, though, so I won't know how it actually goes until then! But I'm glad to be on board with them! Now let's just hope it doesn't get rained out....ha ha! I'm taking hubby with me, and he thoroughly enjoys this sport! (Although they do reimburse you for the tickets if there is a rain out, so that's good!)

Ok she's really super friendly and helpful. I've never had any problems getting shops scheduled through her.

That is good, however, self assigning lets me plan a route a lot more easily. If I have to wait for a scheduler to get back to me, I might then have to wait to schedule other shops in the area. A small limit like ISS has is a problem for me. I shop less for companies after they have moved to ISS.@JulieJ wrote:

I am the exact opposite. Most shops on ISS are fillers for me. It's much easier to find extra shops when you can look at 20 companies at once.

Really, this is only one of several issues I have with ISS. Not a huge loss for me, yet, but it would be if companies I worked with more went over there.

I guess the difference for me is they were fillers to begin with. It is much easier to find those on ISS than especially Prophet where Goodwin moved from.

I'm with Teri on this. I like basically nothing about the platform, but probably the worst is having some artificial criteria which has nothing to do with my record with an individual MSC. Oh yeah, and all those childish "spy" type names which reduce a serious business into a game aren't so great either.
