I think Trendsource lost a client

they've had for years. It was actually my very first shop. They haven't put May's shops for this client on the board yet so I'm wondering if they lost them. Or the client is sort of having troubles so maybe they just gave up shopping.

Can you generally expand what the client deals with in their particular industry...I think I have an idea of what you are referring to, and you may be right.

Neither of the above. Although it is closer to a movie theater chain, just not at the theater.
Does it matter? If it is gone, it is gone. Pick op your toys and go home..

No, I guess it doesn't matter. I was just curious if all of them were no longer shopped or just the locations in my area.
Sorry Lisa, I meant that towards Arch's question about what the client did.

Since the hints aren't ringing bells with me, I'm assuming the shops weren't offered where I live. Here, they seem to have lost a client also, as I haven't seen them on the board for three months.
I think I know what you are talking about - and if I am right, it has not been offered in my area for over a year.

No problem. smiling smiley
No lost clients here..though they usually only have about 10 shops plus intermittent BV's here, they never have had LOTS unless it is a time, like this season, when they do the pricing audits.

I wish they did the pricing audits here. They only have two regularly shopped businesses in my 50 mile radius area. One has around 10 locations though. And I see a BV every month or so.
I seem to be an anomaly, but I don't mind those pricing audits at all (unless I got a vitamin list, then it was truly and utterly abhorant.) And I like the extra free groceries, since we don't have as many groceries here to shop as most other urban places do.

I haven't done the audits for TS yet, but I also don't mind the audits that I have done for other companies.
Dee,

Are you the board moderator or something? A lot of your commentary seems to be negative when someone posts. That deters most people from commenting. I thought we were here to help others. If positive feedback isn't a consideration, then maybe we shouldn't be posting.

No, Jacob is the moderator. Sorry you feel that comment keeps you from posting. My opinions are my own.

I'm glad you feel that way...and just like SPAM, negative commentary belongs on another board. winking smiley
Comments both negative and positive are always welcome here. This sharing of information allows us to decide if a shop/company is worth the trouble. Dee has a lot of experience and her input is always welcome.

SPAM is the stealing of ad space on a board. Another matter entirely...winking smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
And as it was stated, that is MY opinion. I however, will not bash anyone for asking questions about Mystery Shopping or the companies they CHOOSE to do work for. Thank you Mr. Computer101 for your opinion as well.

You are welcome to yours. I am welcome to mine. The particular poster my post was directed at has a long history (on many forums) of nagging about movie shops. You may not understand that as a newer shopper here. However, there are those here who I am sure knew exactly what was taking place with that comment.
Again, I am welcome to my thoughts and you are welcome to yours. Bash me if you choose. My skin is thick and you won't bother me.

No. No Dee, I'm not going to bash you since that's just who you are. I come to the board to read the positives and to gain insight from the experiences of others. I must admit most of your input has been most helpful which had me wandering why the negativity on some of the posts.

Take care and continue doing you. smiling smiley
I am pretty sure I know which client you are mentioning. In my market I haven't seen them in several years. Not suprising as the client I am thinking of is having major financial difficulties, has been closing locations left and right and on the verge of bankruptcy.

They've been closing a lot in my extended area also. There are only two within a half hour of me (both are still there) but several in a large city around an hour from me have closed in the past year.
I have never seen a shop here, but I am pretty sure from the descriptions that it must involve renting something we can now download from Netflix. :-)

Its a tough time in the semester for me, and sometimes I write while on the bus going to teach, I hate to type on the small keyboard for the iPhone and they probably come across as short in tone when I write those.

Haha, I think I'm probably way in the minority, but I still preferred going to the business itself, although I rarely watch movies at home. I've never used Netflix.
I know what client you are talking about, and they lost them a long time ago. They maintained the Franchise portion of the business, however I think they are gone too, now.

The one in my city was still shopped by them as of April. This is the first month they've not been shopped. The location about 25 minutes from me hasn't been shopped for a couple years though.
