Anyone ever get/hear about/ feel banned from Sinclair?

Yesterday, there were about 12 shops showing up in my search. Today there are none. Usually when a client has no shops in my area, their name just does not show up. Now all those client names are showing up, just in green lettering it says sorry but their are no shops available for you at this time.

As far as I know I haven't done anything to be blocked from accepting more shops. I do several shops for them a month and often have the scheduler calling me to ask I take a shop. It just seemed odd seeing all the shops gone.

They have very little here, so that is always the state of things for me with them if I don't get there before they send out an email. They only have 5 shops here.

You may have a little competition going on there. Most of their shops got posted more than a week ago. Check the backup shopper options and I suspect you will see that the shops are/were there but were taken. I snagged a handful of ones I was eligible for by rotation.
The shops aren't in the backup section either. I always check those. Most companies I shop with I check daily. They just pretty much disappeared in a few hours. It's hard to explain how the board looks now. Different then when they just have no shops.
Their board looks typical here, lisams. You may want to contact the scheduler?

I'm thinking of it. I just checked out the backup shop list again. Normally if there are no shops to backup, it is just empty. Now it shows the name of three clients, but no exact shops under them. If I did do something, I can't imagine what it would be. Just last week a scheduler called me to see if I would do the same job again that I've shopped three times this year alone.
Rotation plays a lot into the system. And I think some of the clients now are placing per year limits ( not just Sincliar)....
Sinclair banned me because I stood up to a lying scheduler. I would do it again in a heartbeat...:p

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

They are going through something. I always got an email for certain jobs in my area...don't see them this month. I liked their jobs and hope it's just a slow month.

I think I know what's going on. Recently they have tightened up their rules and you literally need to get your reports in within 6 hours, have no spelling errors or anything that needs clarification, and no reschedules. I can't see any shops in my log either, but when I call the scheduler there are plenty of shops open. It's because I entered in a couple of shops late. I've done accurate and timely shops then but still haven't upped my rating enough to see anything. They are quickly becoming one of my least favorite companies to work for.

That is one thing that really has put me off with them. They say the reports are due by 2:00 PM the NEXT day, but you get counted off if you don't report them within 6 hours. Are they due the next day or in 6 hours? Pick one.

If that is the reason they I will probably not shop as much with them. Lately since I've seen them mention the 6 hour thing I've been getting them in within 6 hours except for one, but it was still in by the due date.

The last shop I did for them was as a favor to the scheduler. It was in a city 90 minutes away and I hadn't planned on going there. They can never get anyone to shop this location so he often calls me to do it. I had to squeeze it in, but I felt bad since he seemed to be in a bind so I did it.

I guess that would be a case of no good deed goes unpunished.
When did they switch to 6 hours? I have a job tomorrow night, and I KNOW it will not be done before bed. I can barely get em in with 2pm central due to the 5 hour time difference.

I noticed that a few weeks ago. Technically the due date is still 2 the next afternoon, but they said it will negatively affect your shopper rating if they are not in within 6 hours.
I just copied this from the briefing on one of their shops:

If your data is entered later than 6 hours after your shop, your shopper rating will be affected. Data must be entered by 2PM the day following your shop to avoid the shop being deleted by our system and scheduled to another shopper.
Strange...I just checked the instructions for mine, and it hews to the 2pm CST thing. Perhaps it is a client thing.

Well it shows that for all the clients they have in my area. I wonder if it's more of a scheduler thing.
I was lax in redoing the test updates, caught up now, and hoping to get some jobs next month.

SIX HOURS!

Are they nuts?

I don't even usually get home from shopping in six hours. I take notes and sometimes put shops on the website, but want to get home, proofread and upload reciepts through my scanner. If I had to do a shop in 6 hours, I wouldn't have time to proof read, and I would have to use my phone to send the reciept. We all know how well THAT would go over!

I would think the only people who can shop like that would be ones who only do one or two shops a day. I don't know if anyone who shops full time could do this. I know I couldn't.

Yep... 6 hours. It's ludacris. And here I thought ATH was the only stupid company that has a super tight deadline. At least ATH says the shops must be in within 5 hours but if you are in good with the schedulers you can turn them in later without it negatively affecting your standing with them. With Sinclair I literally cannot do their shops because most days I am not even home within that timeframe. Heck sometimes I even have a hard time with Market Force's 12 hour deadline. It is really stupid how pay is going lower and lower and deadlines are getting tighter and tighter with all these MS companies. GRRR
It just really has me bothered with this. I called and found out that yes since my report was not in within 6 hours, that is why I can not view shops on the board.

I did that shop as a favor to the scheduler. I was not planning on even going to that city that day, but he called and asked if I would since I had before.

I also really can not agree with them saying the deadline is 2:00 pm the next day, but we will slap your hands if it's not in within 6 hours. Pick a deadline and stick with it.
What they should be doing is giving the 2 PM CST as the deadline, then ***giving a bonus*** if you get the report in six hours. NOt giving two deadlines and penalizing people for *having a life.*

That would be an idea. Insula does something like that.

I have a shop with Sinclair tomorrow that was already scheduled a few weeks ago. I hope I'm home in time to get it reported within 6 hours or else I may never see a Sinclair job board again. winking smiley
I was banned about 6 months ago. Apparently they did not like that I emailed them to do date changes. They would post three jobs for dift clients one Monday, one Tuesday, one Wed. all in the same mall. I would accept and then ask if I could do them all on one of the days as it doesnt make sense to take time to drive to the same mall 3 times plus go through all that gas on what they pay us. The scheduler would not respond and I ended up asking his boss, perhaps he got pissed that I let his boss know that he wasn't responding to me and banned me.
Lisa...I felt the same way...have not done their tex mex lunch place in 2 months, and it's not on the board. They have many jobs in No. Calif, and hardly any here...too bad. I won't do the yummy bun one at the mall, too many calories for me.
