Intellishop picks and chooses which shops to accept BEWARE

Ha. Yeah right. She picks and chooses which shops to accept. I submitted 2 shops days apart using the SAME iPhone camera and she conveniently rejected one shop. I am reporting Intellishop to the department of labor. I did the work right and this is STEALING. I do not recommend Intellishop. Beware ! I am now $25 out.

I did 2 (pizza shop) surveys days apart using the same iPhone camera to take photos and they gave me a 10/10 on one shop and then rejected the other shop. I followed all the guidelines and the photos were the SAME quality. The reason Shannon gave was that the photos were not good enough. My camera is EXCELLENT so this absurd. I did the work right and this is stealing. I am reporting Intellishop to the department of labor. Let me know if others have had the same thing happen and perhaps we can work together.

Mod note: It is a violation of Forum rules and probably also a breach of your ICA to link an MSC with its clientele. For this reason the name of the client has been removed from this post
Forum rule violation, you are not supposed to say the name of the client and the MSC in this forum, please edit and remove the client name! Shannon did not likely edit your report anyway, she is a scheduler. It has nothing to do with your camera most of the time, it's not having it set to the right size, overshadowing, wrong angle, or not showing the entire pizza in the photo. Shannon's great.
Shannon is not an editor, gemi. She is a scheduler. If you didn't take the photos according to the guidelines (and it's a super easy shop, anyway), it has nothing to do with your camera, it was likely your angle, overshadowing, or not showing the entire pizza in the photograph. And Shannon had nothing to do with whether or not your shop was accepted. It was the editor.

It's fine to have and to express an opinion, gemi, but this section is for Kudos and shout-outs. Your post warning others might be more appropriate in another section. I have requested that the moderator move it to another area for discussion.
It's true, but Shannon has always given me bonuses for the pizza shops. I won't do one for less than $23 bonus not including reimbursement for the pizza.
The Department of Labor has jurisdiction over employers and employees. The OP is an independent contractor, not an employee. Should the OP contact the Department of Labor, the OP will quickly learn that as contractors, mystery shoppers have no advocates and very few rights.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I am reporting @gemi5615 to the department of forum mods. Let me know if others have had the same thing happen.

yep, i'm in. i'm for reporting everyone to everything, anyhow.
didnt i just read this same thing in another thread where op named client & msc? one rant is enpugh we dont need to read same rant over & over.
What is not true? Are you claiming that you did not violate Forum rules and your confidentiality agreement with the MSC?

The is simply not true.

Ummm, yeah, several forum members and the mods saw it. It's like the husband who gets caught in bed with his mistress in the nude and tries to deny it...da Nile is a very long river, isn't it?
Pretty much. But gives me something to respond to. It's been a slow day and I am reluctantly getting some housework done in between.

This is not true.

Op here: this is what I was referring too. Not true. Department of labor can absolutely do something about this. Ask me how I know this.

Responding to grumpy forum posters is so much more fun than cleaning toilets...
How did you know what kind of housecleaning I was doing? You're a mindreader, tulip! LOL. I found a new tip for getting rid of hard water stains in the toilet--drop Efferdent denture tabs and add a little hot water so that the water is up over the water line where the stain is. Leave it in for about 30 minutes or so and scrub with the brush! Works pretty good.
And we can completely hijack this thread and completely diffuse the grumpster's warrantless complaint if anyone else has cleaning tips, LOL. As much as I really don't like Intellishop overall, Shannon is a sweetheart.
You are an independent contractor. You cannot get anything done with the DOL. If you hire a painter to paint your house, and he absolutely gets paint all over your bricks and leaves patches where the paint doesn't cover the frame/door or whatever he is painting completely, are you going to pay him? You are an IC, and if the MSC doesn't think that you did a good job on one of your shops, they don't have to pay you for it. If they were trying to "steal" from you, why would they have paid you for even one of the shops?
I've had a recent good experience with Shannon as well.

Now I have a huge pile of laundry to get to that I have been procrastinating. I think I'll put on Willy Wonka and watch it with my five year old while I fold.
Probably the new one unfortunately as it's the only one available on Netflix. Oh well at least I get to ogle Johnny Depp who in my opinion is worth ogling even in a creepy wig.

Nope, I think most of us don't care how you know this. If you figure they can do something for you, then why waste time here?
He's/She's not wasting time here.

He's/She's trying to do us a favor and I appreciate it.

There could be a million different reasons an MSC could deny a shop.
I would just let them, especially if it's a $15 pizza. Unless something was lost in translation.
I wouldn't do a shop I can't afford to loose.
If they say the photo is not good enough, then it's not good enough, it's up to them really. But......

Maybe the quality was diminished in the upload, it's happened to me. Ask her if you can reload it.

Hey, post the two photos from the two different shops here and let us be the judge!

eta: all kinds of stuff

HAHAHAHA...nooooo I love my man I would never trade him for anything. Not even Johnny Depp. Not even if Johnny Depp wasn't a very odd, strange man, and I was younger than 40 and looked like Amber Heard, LOL.
