Tell Us About Us

Found it by accident -- new one on me! Looks like they have some potentially interesting clients. The registration process is strange though -- they require almost nothing, and merely say that you'll be contacted when there's something in your area.

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
I have been signed up with them for a long time. I have never seen a job from them around here.

Same here.
I do about four restaurants per month for them. They only have dining here in L.A., and they are a first class company. I love their restaurants, never had a bit of trouble with them.

They've gotten a nice contract for gas shops Canada. I've been doing 10-12 shops/month for them for the past 3 months. They pay on time, fairly and the scheduler in my area is very easy to work with. The reports are very easy and only take a few minutes. I highly recommend them!
The restaurant shops are about as simple as they come. Makes up for the fact they they don't reimburse the tips.

I have taken a tip from Dee (re; the other MSC that won't reimburse tips) and just do the take shops now.

I have done only one shop for them- a fast food taco chain. The shop and the report were both easy with fair pay.

MSPA Gold Certified. Shopping Appleton, Northeastern WI and Door County WI
They have only one client close to me - a restaurant/bar that I every now and then for them. $25 reimbursement only (covers 3 for lunch, I usually have to add a couple dollars for 3 for dinner). They do NOT reimburse tip, so you are out of pocket the amount of the tip. Reasonable report form, nice company, Kern usually advertises scheduling for them but you go to their website to schedule. Never hear anything back from them, get paid right on time. I like them, wish they had more restaurants here.
They are a relatively new company. They took over the donut shops that had been at SI. When the donuts stopped shopping they developed more clients. I have seen nothing in my area since donuts and didn't do the donuts with them because the value of the shop was pretty low.
I used to do coffee shops for them that were quite easy and nicely bonused. I haven't seen any shops for TUAU in quite some time.
In Seattle area they do a lot of shops, I got a very nice feedback email after my first shop from them. They have generous reimbursements.
I love the restaurant shop they have here. In fact I'm doing a curbside to go on Thursday night.
I LOVE the curbside. The food is good and I like the dine-in - they have lunch specials at lunchtime - and I've done both lunch and dinner. Reimburses $25 and does NOT reimburse tip. But the curbside is my favorite. It has to be the easiest shop ever ..... phone your order in from your car then drive to the restaurant and park at the curb and they bring the food out! LOL, love it, and it's good food.....
The curbside P/U is the best shop of the group, for sure. You can get away with 2 beers & 2 entrees with their lunch specials, also.

If they covered tip or paid a fee this would be one of my favorites. Without it, it's so-so.
same thing happened to me: I signed twice with them, and noting....

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
In my area, they represent a tasty (but not hot and sticky) national donut chain. Since its a Sassie system, I get offers only when shops are in my area. I've never had any problems with them after years of shopping. The most complicated part was reading if it was a "dine-in" or "drive-thru," which, obviously, isn't complicated at all.
This was the first company I signed up for, and so far they've been great!

In my area (Canada, West Coast) they have regular postings for gas, restaurant, and cinema shops, and some retail and grocery too. I've done one gas shop, and several restaurant and cinema shops.

When shops are available, they send an email. You log on, request the shops you'd like, and wait to find out if they pick you. It took a while to get my first shop, but after I'd done a couple of shops and had good evaluations, I find I'm chosen for almost all the shops I pick.

The reports are straightforward, and after you do them once or twice, they're pretty quick to fill out. * edited to add - The reports tend to require only minimal narrative.

The pay is fair, and I really enjoy the shops, as I'd be going to these places anyway. It's reimbursement only for the cinema (ticket and concession, which is fine with me). The restaurant shops basically cover an entree and appetizer or drink. And I've been able to find coupons to use at some of the restaurants, which covers a second entree for my husband smiling smiley

They're quick with feedback, and timely with payments. I was paid Feb 9 for shops I did mid-January.

They lost their biggest client, but gained a healthy mex. restaurant here. Great MSC, pay on time, easy reports and good pay. The new MSC is offering a $10.00 fee + same reimbursement.

You know, it's funny. I registered with them quite some time ago, but was never able to access the job board. I recently wrote to them, asking what was going on, and they told they had no record of my registration. So, I registered yet again, and still, no welcome email, and no access. Then, last week, I got a reach-out email from KSS for a Tell Us About Us shop. The email contained a link to register for the company (but of course, I thought I WAS registered!). On a lark, I clicked on the registration link contained in the KSS email, and unless I'm hallucinating, it brought me to an entirely different page. So, I registered for what I thought was a THIRD time -- and voila! Within minutes, I received a welcome email. Very weird.

On another note, I never heard back from KSS (I hate that they don't notify!), and the due date of the shop has passed. And yet, there my application still sits, in pending. Question -- does Tell Us About Us ever send out shop emails directly, or does KSS do all their scheduling?
Oh, how funny -- I just scrolled up and saw that it was me who started this topic, LOL! Well, further to what I said, I guess I *thought* I first applied in May!

If anyone thinks they're registered, but have never received correspondence, try to sign in. If you can't, you're in the same boat I was. It's really odd.
I as well saw the restaurant on a scheduling Co's board, however, the shop is past due, and as I said, they now lost that client. Wish these scheduling Co's would update their boards, this happens more than not. I remember waiting awhile after registering, but once they find you, your in like flint.

They only have restaurants in the L.A. area, and the one mentioned by several of us (curb side) is now gone.

Hi Everyone,

Fairly new shopper here...

I have shopped a brewery/restaurant for them a few times, but I haven't seen it on their board in a while. So I'm wondering if they lost the account, which is sad because I liked doing the shop. They always reimbursed for tip on the shops that I did as long as tip and total was below the reimbursement amount.

Kev
Kfields...read my above post on the loss of there favorite #1 client, which went over to Mercantile, hope that helps. We all loved that one , especially curbside and the easy reports!!

Live consciously....
Thanks Irene! I have seen a bar integrity shop for them on Mercantile, but I haven't been lucky enough to get it assigned to me. Oh well...I'll keep trying. But I agree they were easy reports and the food was oh so good smiling smiley
That must have been the only place they had in my area, because now the Tell Us About Us board is always empty...
