Has anyone had a problem with Market Force

Has anyone had a problem with direct deposit with Market Force. Supposedly direct deposit was done on Monday but it still hasn't gone in my account. There is also no telephone number on their site and their email help says they are getting a huge amount of emails and they will get to it as fast as possible. It says they paid me but since this is my first payment from them I was wondering if this was normal or what?

no problem; my direct deposit from them went into my account on 5/11/2010. I wonder if they sent a check out instead..if they did, you should be receiving it within the next few days. I have been with them for over six years so I really can't remember if the direct deposit went in the first time I was paid or by check.
It would appear that often their payment for first shops is by mail and subsequently they do the direct deposit. Just double check that your direct deposit information on their site is correct. I am on the pay cycle that shows the direct deposit "was made" on 5/7, though it did not appear in my account until 5/11. You will almost always see a lag time.
They also about a month ago sent out an email saying there was some issue with direct deposit affecting some of their shoppers. They were taking about a week longer than usual to go in.
I have now been using Market Force for about 4 or 5 years and before that it was Shop-N-Chek. They have never missed a payment and I always use direct deposit.
Market Force offers a wide range of assignments and I like the fact that it is all self assignment. You know immediately if you have the assignment, there is no waiting for a confirmation. I have been doing mystery shops for approx. 10 years and Market Force is #1 in my book.
I've mystery shopped for over 16 years now and MarketForce has been a scourge and pestilence for me. They look for reasons to not pay a shopper and I have had more than enough of their shenanigans.

That may be true on occasion. They may reject individual shops for one reason or another. But the shops that they accept, they always pay for, like clockwork. They have never missed a payment for any shops for me.
Thanks guys I got an email from them finally and it was that they had sent a check out this first time. Just it was a new company so I began to panic because I had done a lot for them since as well. Check came and I am good now. *grin*
I had a bad reporting experience and posted it on Volition with no responses. Perhaps it was unique. I evaluated the black and red fiberoptic carrier and found the reporting to be impossible. Tons of conflicting error messages and outdated bar code #'s that caused the reporting to span over an hour.........for $8 (used to pay $14 without having to report the bar code numbers from each brochure). Anyone else had this problem with this particular assignment?
I didn't have any particular errors with reporting, but found that even as a bonused shop it took way too much time to be worth it. Definitely would NEVER do it for $8 and probably not for twice that.
I've only performed 2 cell phone shops for MF and -0- audits. In both instances, the cell phone shop was closed when I arrived. In both instances, I called beforehand.

In both instances, I was paid the full amount!

Frankly, they're the easiest shops I've ever performed! No work...full pay!

I like MF just fine. The reports are easy and there are no long narratives. I do plenty of writing in my real job. So, for me, I like the simple check the box shops. Fees could always be better, but if I wait long enough, there are usually bonuses.
Not talking about the cell phone shops. Those are easy. Speaking about the black and red home fiberoptics assignments.

MF is good about paying for closed locations. I've been paid for at least 3 different closed cell phone locations, and one multiple times, and 1 closed office supply location. I was once paid 3 times for the same closed cell phone location, within walking distance of my office. After it was closed and padlocked the first month, I reported. It was posted again a few weeks later and, thinking it must be open now I took it again - still closed and padlocked. Reported again. Paid for both. A couple months later - POSTED AGAIN! - and still padlocked. Once again I was paid - and 2 weeks later another business moved into that space. Too bad .... I would have been glad to keep checking on it every month for them .....

Not much in the way of bonuses here in Austin where there are so many shoppers, but the report forms are easy. I don't like having to print the annoying CPI, but I like to self-assign. The jobs don't pay much so I do them only when I feel like it and only when I have something else closeby. Easy company to shop for as long as you fly under the radar. Any problems become serious.
I occasionally get questions from MF about individual assignments, and I answer them. Once in a great while (once or twice a year out of hundreds of assignments), I have had to appeal on the basis of imprecise wording of instructions, and in each case I have prevailed with the shopper's advocate. Market Force is very good about paying on time. When they have a "broad" payment glitch, they announce it publicly, and then they fix it. Would it be nice if they paid more? Of course! But shops do get bonuses if no one will take them - the last week or so has been particularly good in the Middle Atlantic area from the shopper's perspective.

Yes, I got couople of ff shops out in different "boonie" areas for $25 plus reimbursement and found other shops with them to add to the fun. While hunting for something to go with one, I picked up 7 banks with Measure, two casual dining shops while I was on the phone with them anyway, an office supply that was bonussed and took me ten minutes, and a cell phone place that was quick and easy and bonussed. Lots of work for me at the end of the month plus some higher boonie gas shops to get me there and back. All because of two boonie ff shops that said $25.00 lol
MF just took away my ability to select shops. They have done this to other shoppers before when the button to do so vanishes. Funny thing is, they still expect me to complete my current shops scheduled for this month (20 or so), yet they give me no notice or explanation why I am being screwed. C'mon Marketforce, give us the same respect you demand from us. Bleh

Call & e' them for a definitive answers that match.
They did that to me because I had to report after midnight on several shops after doing my boonie trips. Once I explained, they just told me to let them know in advance so they could keep their "system" from booting me from being able to assign shops.
I have worked for them for two months, they told me they pay every other Friday and I haven't had one problem with them so far, got a direct deposit today.

They pay the 10th of every month.

I have since been reinstated as a "courtesy." I was deactivated from selecting shops because they claimed I did not properly submit fast food shop receipts, yet my CPI/Receipt status page made no such designation. ODD.

Not MarketForce. They pay once a month, usually the 10th if you get direct deposit.
Well maybe the merchandising pay is differnant, I've been paid every other Friday for those jobs

Never. So far the checks come in the mail even though I have direct deposit info in my profile.
MF is my main shopping company. The shops that pay less ($7 or $8) have very quick reports. However, a few shops that pay around $10 are asking for more information than the pay is worth. My main income from them is banks and while they ask for alot of narrative, after a lot of practice, the narratives become fairly easy to do. Also, if you keep an eye on them daily, you can pick up bonused shops and after establishing a history with them, you can get some very high paying bank shops at the end of each quarter.
