Are SeeLevel HX restaurant reports horrible?

I am thinking of signing up for a restaurant shop for SeeLevel HX. The pay is awful but this one shop does have a small bonus. I have been signed up with that company for a while but for some reason, have been leery of their shops. I'm wondering if I should attempt this one. Thoughts and experiences?

The reports are pretty easy, with little narrative. And the editors are not too annoying or demanding. They have one restaurant that I really like and will take even without a bonus.
I've never done a restaurant shop with them but their retail shops can be a bit of a pain. However they do pay decent since you don't have to buy anything (at least the ones I've done)

Red Lobster and Olive Garden are NOT fine dining!
I have done a few of their restaurant shops. I enjoy doing it and will continue doing it. The reports are not hard at all.
The reports are probably not horrible, but the company is horrible, and Darius Jackson is bottom of the barrel as far as schedulers come.

Wow... I have had great experiences with SeeLevelHX... I did a mall retail shop for them just last night. The shop was a purchase and return. The total shop time was 25 minutes and the report took 15. $35 for 40 minutes of work? I'll take it. I have no complaints about their editors either...

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I have done the restaurant they have, report is fine. Schedulers change like underwear.
I had major problem with them, I think the scheduler makes the difference, but one mans poison is another's steak. The restaurant job is fine, Six Flags is not.
I will always try once and judge for myself. I'll add, I got a 10 saying nice job.

I like them. Yes the pay is only $5 plus meal reimbursement most of the time, but the report is easy and gets easier each time I do one. I continue to receive high marks for my reports and even personal emails from the schedulers thanking for being accurate in my reporting and submitting on time. I normally prefer a bigger payment for a shop (even restaurant shops), but I let it slide for them. I can do a "take-out" for lunch; the report is short and sweet and I got a free meal. I wish they had more shops in this area and I didn't have to wait a month before I can do the restaurant again.
I just a 9 on my latest restaurant report for them with the following comment:

"there were minor errors in the way the shop was performed".

I have no clue what I did wrong. They only sent a genetic statement about what is needed to get a 10. I will not loss any sleep over it. It was a take out shop with minimal narrative.

What's wrong with Darius Jackson? The only issue I have with him are the overabundance of emails from him begging me to do urgent jobs with no bonus. And then he ends the email with something like, "This goal can be achieved by YOU!"

...and there is another part, which I can't pinpoint right now. His grammar is off. I cringe when I see it. I'm thinking if I wrote that in a report you would mark me off!

Sorry i kept getting errors trying to submit a post

The guidelines are spread out throughout there reporting page with huge pictures of the employees in uniforms, storefront and menus. Obnoxious when you are trying to fill it out AND makes it tricky to fill in the questionnaire while dining.

I agree he needs to stop spraying us with several intra-day emails because GMAIL and Yahoo Email have no problem classifying them to SPAM which probably makes him wonder why people are not responding to his emails.

I got that one time too, after doing the same shop at least 10 times. I did not bother to ask what was wrong.
The restaurant shop gets easier the more often you do it. Once you know what timings you have to get, it's not as much stress. And the take-out shops are great!

The only real issue I have with this company is that their pay is on the low side, and they never seem to bonus anything, even when they can't get it filled! So I don't do a lot for them. And many of the shops they send e-mails about aren't in my region.

Are you serious? You try to fill out reports in the middle of a shop? How can you provide accurate observations let alone not realize you are violating your instructions?

It's one of those shops where I end up having to delete some of my narrative since it only allows up to a certain amount of characters.

Quietime, you aren't supposed to fill out your report in the restaurant! You are supposed to do it away from the location.

I was wondering the same thing, but I concluded that quiettime must be pulling our legs. I hope.

They're alright all in all, but it would be helpful if they gave you some way to respond to their feedback and fix things. It's hard to know what you actually did wrong if you can't see the report wit the bad areas highlighted or something to that effect.
One thing I noticed: On the "bird flappers" shops there is hardly ever a manager present. smiling smiley
Agree that the pay is pitifully low, but I occasionally do them because they do takeout shops at a wings place that I really like, which is conveniently located right next to my favourite grocery store. They reimburse a meal of up to $15 (or maybe it's $18, can't remember), and the reports are dead easy, takes me about 15 mins to complete. I can sit at my desk munching "free" wings and fries while filling out the report. Payments have been prompt and my shop ratings are all either a 9 or 10. So, no complaints here.

Holding true to my word, saying they change schedulers like underwear...once again I started with Kara, am doing job Friday, and now get a reminder from Margaret, total revolving door.

Kara is the project manager and I am the scheduler in charge of BWW shops, so yes, you may get emails from either of us, as well as the other schedulers on the team.

Margaret- who checks on scheduler Yvonne Gurley? I have 18 emails from her in 20 minutes today, some for shops hours from me. It was slightly insane.

Problem being, if there is a problem with job, you never know who to contact with an array of different schedulers. I prefer working from start to finish with one, and most of my jobs are that way. Yvonne was quite rude to me on forum, I question her stability, and sending 18 emails show's that.

Yes, I understand that. The best way to get in touch with a scheduler for a shop you've already been assigned is to email through Sassie using the Help/Contact link in your shop log. Otherwise, you can email questions to Questions@SeeLevelHX.com and they will be forwarded to the correct contact.
