MaritzCx and a stupid question

Does MaritzCx tell you if a shop has been refused? I had visions of grandeur a shop completed on the 6th would've been paid on the 15th.

If I'm getting upset over nothing, please let me know. I know they pay on time, but I haven't done enough to figure out when the money will show up.

Yes. A few years ago I shopped and reported the wrong location and they let me know right away.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.

Per Frances at Maritz, shops performed and invoiced between the 1st and 14th of the month will be paid at the end of that month. Of course, that's provided they are approved by the editors.
You would know if the shop had been not approved - an Email and a "hold" would have shown up on your "Current Shops" page.

BTW, shops performed, invoiced and approved between the 15th and end of the month will be paid in the middle of the next month.
Do you mean refused by the client or refused by Maritz? I have done a lot of Maritz shops and I believe that once it is accepted by Maritz it is accepted by the client. If is is refused by Maritz you will get a "hold" notice and the shop has to be corrected and re-submitted.
Thank you!

Last week was a planning disaster on my end. I'll never make the same mistake again. But OH WOW!, massive expensive lesson.

The only good news concerning this month is I have more mileage for the accountant to wriggle with when she attacks my taxes.

I've had a shop refused by Maritz after a ton of thrashing and going back and forth over details. They never actually told me it was refused until I called and asked where my money was. Then they told me that it would be paid.... 2 weeks later, nothing. wash, rinse, repeat.
And that was the last home improvement shop I did for them.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I tried working for Maritz once. Did a home improvement shop and after a few days it disappeared from my shop log. Called and emailed repeatedly, no response until weeks later when I was tersely told that my shop was "excluded". Wrote back and asked what "excluded" meant, was I going to get paid or not? No response.

Decided to write them off and refused to perform any further shops for them.

4 months later I get a surprise check in the mail from Maritz. Payment for the "excluded" shop. I LOL'd, cashed he check and de-activated my account with them.

Silly Maritz
Oh Moosie Moosie Moosie Blue
Silly silly silly you
Your shop was excluded
For which you then brooded
So then you wrote them off
Pardon, I have to cough
And four months did pass
The MSC showed their class
The check came in the mail
For a shop that you did fail
Oh Moosie Moosie Moosie Blue
Silly, silly silly you

Good one,French Farmer! I agree, a company who pays you even when you fail the shop is one to treasure rather than deactivate yourself from.
BueMoose, thank you for deactivating your account with Maritz. That leaves more lucrative shops for the rest of us.

ETA: Corrected typo.

Blue Moose,
Once Maritz shops are edited, they disappear from your shop log.

How do you de-activate with Martiz? They call all the time and I was thinking about de-signing up.
