Intellishop Did Not Pay Early Pizza Shop Payment as Promised

Intellishop said they would pay on 12/30/16 for Pizza shops done correctly and submitted by 12/28/16. I did a shop and submitted it on the 28th, but still not reviewed or paid. I emailed them today to find out the status, but no response, review or payment. Anyone else with this problem?

Holytoledo! Did they really say that they would pay that fast after it was completed or it would be paid quickly after being graded? It is the end of year, I personally wouldn't sweat it. Do you really need the money that fast or are you just hodling them to their promise (which is a crazy fast promise in my opinion).
They advertised in an email and in the guidelines that they would reimburse on the 30th if submitted by the 28th. I took them at their word. They wanted the get their shops done by the end of the year, so they offered the fast payment as an incentive. I need the money. I won't usually do up front money shops b/c I'm usually broke, but did this b/c nice way to get a pizza without my money being out too long. If I had promised someone that I would pay them on a certain day, I would pay them or at least tell them why I couldn't.
I too received the email and recall it saying any shop completed correctly and submitted by the 28th would be paid on 12/30/16. The big problem is it is intellishop so they can say a detail was missing to get out of quick pay. Intellishop has become cheap cheap cheap and a PITA. I do very little and only with big bonuses for them. If you get paid by 1/20/17 consider yourself lucky. You will get paid its just a matter of when assuming you followed the guidelines and did the shop correctly.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I was paid by Intellishop yesterday for work done this past week. I've never had a problem with their payments. Every week in December I received a payment. I was really pleasantly surprised, yesterday, because I wasn't even expecting to get paid this week.
I'm unsure but the way I read their email, it sounded like all shops completed and graded by the 28th would be paid by the 30th. I'm not sweating it, since all shops of mine graded before the 28th were indeed paid yesterday. If the money is important, perhaps it doesn't hurt to ask but I did think their email meant all shops graded by the 28th.

I read it as the shop would have to have been edited and graded as well before they paid. So if you just submitted it on the 28th, that was still too late for payment on the 30th.
I got that email, too, although I don't take those shops and possible fast payment would not be enough to entice me. I also believed only those shops both submitted AND EDITED by the 28th would be paid on the 30th. I wouldn't think just submitting on the 28th would make the deadline.

Can I ask why you do not like them? I have had all positive experience with Intellishop...Am I missing something?

I might have misunderstood, but it was my belief that Intellishop was not promising to pay all outstanding shops on Dec. 30. I coould be wrong, but I understood the email to mean that this quick payment was a special negotiating tool they were using to get the particular shops noted in the email filled, completed and reported quickly. Any shops other than those in the special negotiation would be paid according to Intellishop's regular payment schedule. Shops completed Dec. 2 would probably pay toward the end of January 2017.

Thanks for clarifying.
I was paid for shops completed on the 20th but not the 6th, 15th or 19th --- but all have been reviewed and "graded" -- This is my first month so I just figured they will pay during the next cycle???
I received an email for an automobile shop, explicitly stating in the heading, that these shops would be paid in the month of December if submitted in December. The shop was due on 12/22/16 but needed to wait for submission until 12/25 to see if there was follow-up. I followed the directions exactly as it was explained. My shop has still not been edited!!! I sent a message to the scheduler pointing this out and reminding her of the commitment to pay in December. She gave me a song and a dance about how long it took to do the editing, etc.

It seems to me that if a company cannot follow through on their promises, THEY SHOULD NOT MAKE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! And yes, I really needed the money.

"HOLIDAY EXCLUSIVE: SHOPS FINALIZED BEFORE 12/28 WILL BE PAID BY THE END OF THE YEAR "

That's what the headline/highlighted part of my emails stated so I just figured they meant shops that they had finalized and edited.

If you got a different email, I'd definitely ask about the payment and see if it could be paid out early, otherwise I think it sounds like the rest of us probably got the finalized email. I didn't get payments for other December shops, just the holiday exclusive labeled shops.

I misunderstood the guidelines. Thanks to everyone for clearing that up for me. BTW, I emailed Intellishop twice, trying to get clarification and NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I haven't deactivated, but I stopped the emails. They will be my last company to do business with from now on, because this is the second time I've had trouble getting paid and they never respond to emails. There are other companies out there that maintain good relationships with their shoppers and which are happy to clarify any question or offer help.
Yes, mine said the same thing about being finalized. However, it was their doing that it was not finalized by Dec. 28th. I had submitted it on time, but they have yet to edit it......their doing, not mine.
Same here. I submitted early, but they failed to finalize. I'm tired of Intellishop---really tired of them.
I don't do much work for them, and the tool audits were close by. They paid so nicely at $150, $175, and finally $200 that I had to snag up a few. I was excited for the financial benefit. I rarely get much work with them, but I haven't been stressing. Many of their shops involve only time for me without money paid out so I try no to give em too hard of a time. Glad everyone is getting sorted out, and hopefully everyone gets paid. I like the relationship of me making money so patience has been a virtue I've learned.

I just received an email from the scheduler. She apologized for not paying me. She said they had more shops to edit than they had anticipated and were not able to finalize them all in time. I thanked her for letting me know.
Did a job for ssishops. Some guy named tom callaghan. Went and did an evaluation at zinburger. That was on 12/13/16. Submitted all the paperwork. Got a confirmation number. Received no payment. Sent emails and got no response about payment. Discovered some reviews on this guy and found out he stiffs people all the time. Impossible to get paid. Avoid this knucklehead. Am going to file a complaint with the BBB. and anywhere else that I can.

You got scammed, rehulit. But what does your experience with Tom Callaghan have to do with Intellishop?

I have removed the client from my quote of your post.

I received a similar message from Intellishop. The client was not a pizza place, but I took the shop, visited the location and submitted it on the 26th of December. To my pleasant surprise, I received payment on December 30th just as they had promised. Maybe the 28th was too late to submit it.

I have not had a problem with payment from intellishop, but all of a sudden the pizza pictures are not at the right angle. I compared my picture to the previous pizza shops I had done for the same pizza chain and it looked the same to me. I also had a friend in another state do the same shop and got a denial for the angle of the pizza. That's just too picky for me. I will continue other shops for intellishop but not no more pizza shops for me.
I'm currently avoiding Intellshop for a similar reason. They disqualified a December 2016 shop I completed. A fifty dollar shop! The reason was bogus. It was a car shop. In the survey they asked if the sales rep mentioned that they gave part of their doc fee to charity. Because I said he did but could not recall which charity, they said that put my memory for the entire shop at question. Duh! I was sent to shop the car. I was paying attention to the car and the sales rep, not the charity. They never told me I was shopping the charity. So if you're gonna shop with this company, beware. They are now using trick questions. Make sure you remember everything whether it's about the product you've been sent to shop or not.

For me personally, I don't have time for those kind of games. I learned my lesson the hard way, and I won't shop this company again unless I'm hard up for cash.

I'm sorry you're missing out on getting paid and I feel for you. But the disqualification of your shop actually does not sound bogus to me. It sounds as though you couldn't answer a question. The report form was provided at the same time as the guidelines and it is expected that you will review the report form, so you knew in advance that you would be asked that question. Again, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of the high fee, but accept responsibility for the failure. It wasn't a trick queston. It was a question you couldn't answer because you had not paid attention to it, even knowing in advance you would be asked the question. If I were the editor, that would make me believe you may not rememer everything else you were asked to report.

edited to add: This is not a defense of Intellishop. I do not shop very often for Intellishop because their pay is pretty low. But blaming the company for disallowing a shop because you could not remember something you were told in advance you would be asked is not reasonable.

I learned my lesson the hard way.

It's hard to lose a big-bucks fee. I sympathize. I totally get why you are angry and why you are venting.

My best advice would be to always, always, always read the report form before doing the shop. Reading and understanding the report form is as important to the shop as reading and understanding the guidelines. If there is a question on the report form, then the information is important to the shop you will be conducting. Remember everything that you know you will be asked on the report form. Some of the questions and information may seem irrelevant to the product, but if there's a question, the company will want the answer. This is true for all the companies I shop with.

This sounds like a new editor to me. I had the same issue with pizza shops for another company: dozens of good shops, then all of a sudden the pictures aren't right. Fortunately I had a good history with them and was able to get it straightened out through someone else I had worked with there and got paid. If there is someone at IS with whom you can discuss the photo issue, that might be better than summarily blowing off the shops.
