Marketforce

I have occasionally been paid a little late (but typically by the 15th to 20th of each month), but have not received a check or deposit from them for a confirmed and completed shop on 12/27/2016 or one on the 17th of this month. Anyone know what is going on? (I've e-mailed them, and they told me that they were "on-time," but according to their own standards they are grossly late.) Also, I had completed two other shops in that time and turned in all the information and photos ON-TIME, but they have deleted those shops from my list. Is Marketforce no longer a competent or honest company; and should I shop mystery shopping for them? (Honest opinions and accurate data sought.)

My MFI payroll history link shows I was paid Jan. 11 for my December shops (through Dec. 22.) Have you looked at your payroll history link?

Okay, i have several thoughts here.

If the checks paid "a little late" were issued by the 15th to 20th of each month, then according to the MF payment guidelines, those payments were NOT late. MF often pays early, like the 10th-12th for direct deposit but they state in their guidelines they don't promise payment before the 20th. Quote from MF payment guidelines "All compensation will be paid either via direct deposit to an account you have specified or by a check that will be mailed no later than the 20th of each calendar month...."

If you did not receive payment in December for a November shop, then something is wrong. I received my December direct deposit for all November shops on 12/12/16. I received my January direct deposit for all December shops on 1/10/17. If you are paid by check, and you have not received the January check, I would say it may not arrive until around January 30. Back in the old days before I got direct deposit, checks mailed could take up to 10 days to reach me.

MF is still, IMHO, a very competent and honest company. I have worked for them since 2010 and always been paid on time for all assignments that were accepted by MF. It sounds to me like something is wrong. Are you sure the shop was accepted? If you believe it was accepted but you have not been paid, I urge you to contact the Help Desk again, providing specific detail about the shop that was not paid. If you do not receive a response about that particular unpaid shop, I would ask for a supervisor to review and respond.
Read back through what I posted please, it appears that you did not - or else just didn't read the dates correctly.
For example: If the shop was done on the 27th of December, by Marketforce's own website and rules-of-operation, I was to receive the check for that NO LATER than the 20th of this month. As it was last month's, it would have been a higher probability to have received it on the 16th. (The 15th was a Sunday.)

As you quoted, "no later than the 20th of each calendar month." That sir, would be considered a promise or a contractual agreement. Than again, as you asked afterward, the shops were/are all confirmed and the CPI verified.

I have tried to contact the help desk, have e-mailed them otherways, and have spoken to a (very rude) lady who ended up admitted that she didn't/"don't know" and hanging up on me before I could reply.

True, I have worked with Marketforce for about 4 years now; in three states; and this is the second time that they've done this. The other time was in NC and they had computer problems in processing the checks (what I was told at that time, but I got my check about three weeks late and that was all). So I'm glad that you haven't had any issues thus far.

As for the posts above.... I have a direct deposit on 1/12/2017.

OK, first, I'm not here to argue with you. I presented my honest opinion and a quote from the MF website detailing their payment guidelines. Your post was very nebulous on whether you have direct deposit or receive checks, so my response was longer than necessary, clearly.

As for the guidelines promising that you would receive a check no later than the 20th, read the MF quote again: "All compensation will be paid either via direct deposit to an account you have specified or by a check that will be mailed no later than the 20th of each calendar month...." They promise a check will be MAILED no later than the 20th. They do not promise delivery no later than the 20th.

I repeat, something is wrong. Either your report was not accepted or payment is tied up somehow. The only way to resolve it appears to be contact the Help Desk. I would suggest contacting them via email so you have a record of what you said and what MF Help Desk personnel responded to you. If you do not get a response to payment of the specific assignment from the Help Desk employee, forward the Help Desk response back to the Help Desk asking again and request a supervisor. Continue to do so until you find out why the payment has not been made or you are told the shop was not accepted.

The dates are really irrelevant. Nobody here can help you get your money. Only you can help you get your money and you do it by asking MF for it.

edited because my keyboard has gone crazy. In addition, I can't spell.

@fishing4icthus-------->"As for the posts above.... I have a direct deposit on 1/12/2017." What payment/shop is this DD for?
Under real circumstances, I would wait until the payment for February were sent out before making a mountain out of a molehill. You did preform the shop at the end of the month, during holidays and the end of the year.smiling smiley

BTW, we can only give you Honest Opinion, accurate data can only be given to you by MF.

Your payment log lists all shops paid by month. If your late December shop is not on the January list, you were not paid. The current status page lists up to 30 days back. The shop from the 27th should still be there. They do not delete rejected shops, they just show the status. I am sure you already know this. What was the last status you observed for the shop on the 27th? "Confirmed" is not a valid final status.

By the way, why are you implying the shop from the 17th of this month should have already been paid?
