I haven't had a problem with its size. First make a bitmap image on your desktop. On the desktop, right click, select NEW, then select Bitmap Image. It puts a new Bitmap image there. I use the same one over and over. So you will already have this image there before you do the CPI. On the CPI page I do select all, copy and paste it into Word. Then it is there 100% size in Word, and I "paste" in my sig. After the sig, I select 75% size and "print screen" and minimize the word doc. Then double click the bitmap image, select edit then paste. It puts your CPI image there, you may have to pull it up or down, or adjust, then you save it as a jpeg. I haven't had a single problem from MF with size. This works great. And I save a bunch of paper cause I never print the CPI anymore.

I never print the CPI-the same thing with the invoices from ICCDS. I never have printed a single one. I keep 'em electronic and use photoediting SW to attach signatures and receipts.

I can't read all the post here. If anybody has already said this then, "Great minds think alike."

MF is strange b/c if you accept or decline a certain type of shop all other similar shops are removed from your "sight". and will show up again at the latter part of the month.

Sometimes answering one of their questions wrong, removes shops from your sight. As a Banking shop----you can ask for a loan on a personal level, but they want you to ask on a fake level for $200,000. Your answer may get all banking shops removed. They ususally reaapear, giving you some time to think it over.

FF shops----you don't eat meat (personal). The FF shops disappear from your list of shops. "You can't taste a hamburger if you don't eat meat".

MF plays a lot of games. Pay attention to how you answer there detail questions. Some times failing the certification/ Auditors test removes shops from your list.

There is also a Universal CPI, one can download or print.

Also "SB and NT" some MS have a scanning program you can download. Most companies wants you only fax or scan CPIs, receipts, or photos, all other reporting is done online.

That is the point for the certification though, to see if you qualify for the shop. They tell you to read and answer the questions carefully because that is what will determine if you are able to assign the shop.

MFI's FAQ's page says that they will disqualify you for all shops of a certain type, if you "reject" one of the shops. For example, if you go through all of the certification questions on a FF shop at Big M's and then decide to reject because none of the available dates will work for you, ALL Big M's shops will disappear...for that period. You will see them available for scheduling again the following month.

I've gotten very good at using my BACK arrow...instead of hitting the "reject" button. You can see all of the info and dates, then just back out if you don't want to sign up for the shop.

Wabbitmom, I haven't seen that on their FAQ page, but I've heard that about MSCs in general. I've read in a few places that it's advisable to never reject if it's a shop you might want to consider doing at some point in the future.

Yes, I always view 'accept/decline' as an option to accept and will only decline shops that have zero interest--regardless of where they were located and/or how much bonus was attached. So, for example, an alcohol compliance shop that requires shopper or guest under 25 will just not work for me unless I decide in my dotage to become a true 'coyote'. An 18 holes of golf or a 9 holes of golf have equal non-interest to me.

Yep, cougar is the current term. I thought you used coyote as a way to differentiate yourself from someone of my age group doing that. :-)

Funny.

'Failing' the screening is useful when you don't want a shop. Answering incorrectly will remove it from available shops, one month at a time. Lessens the clutter.

Yup, I spend the first quarter of the year 'failing' the tax shop screenings to make them go away.

We probably have way less shops here than other parts of the country. I just log in, look at the list, see if there is remotely anything I want, and leave the rest untouched. It is never more than 20 shops on a good day, and sometimes goes as low as two or three.

You do have way fewer. When the FF shops have been released, I can have well over 100 or so....especially when I have to widen the search area to 200 miles so that some of the local ones will show up.

I have a question about their form. Does it ALWAYS ask if you've called the location to verify hours and address? I just did my third shop for them, and was surprised that this was asked. Nowhere in the instructions did it say to check. I remember that on the first one, it merely said to check the address, and on the second, instructions DID say to verify both.

Other shops I've done specifically say to NOT contact the location prior to the shop, so I was actually wondering if this was a trick question, LOL! I assumed it wasn't, but I was surprised. Somehow I missed this when I reviewed the form before the shop.

The one time I ran into that when it said did you call I answered that the CPI said specifically to not call and that was that. They never said anything.

Most of the shops I do for MFI say to call first. There have been three lately that say do NOT call. On those I answer that no I did not call because the CPI stated not to.
