Can you provide a web site for the company? Some members are very good at detective work but need a bit more information to get started.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
So...as a very good detective...first step is searching it in 'Saint Google'. It's very easy...I'm sure you will find it.

But why would anyone bother to search Google to answer a question for you when you can search Google for yourself? I would be hesitant to provide any information about whether a company appears to be a scam or not to a new poster unless I knew I was looking at exactly what the new poster was looking at and asking about. If you provide the website or specific contact information you have for the company you are asking for help with, i'll be glad to give you an opinion.
The point is that just the website is the only information I can find in Google. I did it already. www.xxxxxxx.com

No, the actual point is that unless we are both looking at the same thing, an opinion won't help you. Not long ago, a new poster asked the question "Is Reality Based a legitimate company?" The answer is yes. That company is legitimate. But it turned out that the poster had received a scam letter from a scam company using Reality Based's name. So, while Reality Based is a legitimate company, the letter the poster had received was not legitimate. That's a big problem when you make assumptions that everybody is looking at the same thing and talking about the same thing.

Now that you have identified the website you are talking about, you will probably get some answers.
There is more information unders the careers section that is listed on the bottom of the page. Says that they only hire full time auditers and you have to pretty qualified for this type of hotel shopping. Pilots with over 50 international stops or people with income over $250K. LOL
....or frequent business travelers, or Platinum members of loyalty programs. Both of which many shoppers are.
