Ace Mystery shopping

Yup. They've been around a long time. Their shops are pretty straightforward. I've never had any issues with them about payment. Don't do a whole lot because they don't have a whole lot in my area.
I appreciate that they don't seem to play games with shoppers. If they've got a question, they ask it. If they don't, they don't waste hot air and both our time.
I've been wanting to try them, but they very rarely have anything in my area. I'm talking one shop in the past 15 months.
I've been signed up over a year but just did my first shop for them last month. In fact, I did two. I almost did 3, because they posted a restaurant I wanted but I didn't have a free night so had to pass it up. Haven't been paid yet - it's been less than a month - but the report form was reasonable and scheduler easy to work with. I got an e-mails after both shops with my grade. They grade with 7 being a perfect score.
My last job with them was paid in 7 weeks. Not the fastest, but not the slowest.
That is odd. I have always been paid around the 5th of the month for jobs done from the 1st through the end of the month before. So sometimes a month, but sometimes its only a few days. Same thing held true for June. I wonder if they pay differently for different clients?

No idea. But I did a job early in the month and was paid 7 weeks later, which didn't correspond to the 5th of the month.
I've done several shops for them. They have a few cell phone shops in my area. I've had a good relationship with them, and they pay on a timely basis.
My idea of an agreeable person is a person who agrees with me.

AM, I have never gotten a grade on any of my shops for them. In fact, I have only heard from them after one shop, and that was something from one of the owners telling me she loves to read my shops. All the other times, I hear nothing, and I get paid on time. Keep the offers coming, I say! :-)

I really do wish all of the editors would email the scores to the shoppers when they edit their reports(we have 10 or more... can't remember them all! hee hee). I can assure you that when I help edit, I do email the shoppers. If there are things that can be improved upon, I let the shopper know in that email and if the shopper did great, I let them know that as well!!

I signed up last night but nothing close to me. They did have some cell phone shops in another part of the state.
At the beginning of each month we release new shops. :-)

I work in the Dallas, TX area, and continue to see shops that were to be done in September 2010 still on the assignment board?? Yet each subsequent month they were assigned and preformed (I did one of them), so are they valid or does the scheduling manager need to remove them?

Hi Raven! I am the scheduling manager for ACE Mystery Shopping. I'm confused as to where you are seeing the September shops. In our Open Opportunities, we have our January shops (close to 400 of them) listed right now.
I have been offered shops for Ace and they seem to be ok. I will do some when my calendar has a little daylight. The hollidays and a full schedule of shops has kept me from comitting, but I will. These guys look ok!

My concern is that their checks state clearly "ACE Mystery Shopping" and in the memo line indicate it is for "Shops between _____ and ____". They have to be handled with some discretion and preferably not deposited to an account at a bank you routinely shop.

I LOVE them.
I find them to pay at the next pay date, ie, if a job was done jan 20, feb 1 it was paid. I also have had contact with the owner, who is lovely to interact with. Pay seems to vary by client, for my area, it is more than fair and they pay exactly when they state.
I would do a job for these guys any day.

I LOVE them.

Only problem I have is with the scheduling. You have to go back and see if you have been accepted for a job, they don't send e-mails letting you know you have been accepted. With all the jobs I apply for weekly I sometimes forget which ones have been applied for.This seems to be either a "shop-metrics" gaff, or schedulers not sending the e-mails.

Hi Hellbent! Our system does send out automatic Assignment Confirmation emails when a shopper is approved. The email comes from notifications@shopmetrics.com. Make sure to add it to your safe list or approved senders so they won't go to your junk/spam folder.
