Maritz New Bank Inquiry Shops

Is anyone else having every one of these put on hold for Question #35? I am at a loss as to what they want. I give them an honest answer and they don't like it no matter what I write. I am now eight for eight. Once the last ones scheduled are done, the are on my 10-foot-pole list. For shops that seem so straightforward and easy, they have been a major pain in the butt.

I have not done one of these shops yet, so I cannot answer your question other than to say based on my other shops with them, it's not surprising that they have a "hold" on your shop...that seems to be a trend here lately. I have another shop for them later this week and praying "hold" is no where in their vocab after submission. Let us know what you find on the question so it might help us with future shops.

And just like dust, I will rise.
I've done the shops successfully in the past, but I don't remember what Q35 was.

I do their bank shops but there are not 35 questions. Different shop no doubt. Be a little more precise and I'm sure someone can answer your question.
Maritz shops at least three different banks. And each of those banks has at least two types of shops. One of them has four different types of shops. Saying Q35 doesn't mean a thing as there are so many possible questionnaires involved.
Sorry this is the brand new shop that I'm sure is in response to the scandal. The bank is shopped by other MSCs but is new to Maritz. When I'm off the road I will paste in the question and the editor's comment.
I have had the same issue, but I think it was 36A. The one, ... would you recommend this bank. How much more is necessary to say when you just said you'd be highly likely to open an account yourself. They have kicked back at least 50% of mine. I liked that they paid more than the other bank shops and you seldom have to wait for a banker. But, I am taking a break from all MaritzCX shops for a while. Like you, too frustrating to be worth it.

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.
Actually, the bank is not new to Maritz. I did the scandalous bank last year with them and had some issues with the report being sent back. I forgot and took 3 more for this month..ugh...

Maybe they just expanded the shops to this area due to the scandal as these shops seem to focus on the scandal . . . And deservedly so. Their bankers sure have gotten a lesson in humility. I see a huge difference. Every time I had to deal with this bank I thought to myself that Maritz needed to be doing blue-bank type shops with them as their bankers were so dishonest. This is the first time these banks have been shopped by Maritz in my area but they are routinely shopped by two other MSCs.
There are three different banks and multiple types of inquiries for each bank in my area. I've noticed one regional bank, and two national/coastal banks in the area on the boards for inquiry. There are also account opening shops for at least two of these banks. I did eight shops and had two with holds, but they were easy fixes. I have two more scheduled next month. I have noticed an uptick in the amount of holds though :/

This was my first shop for Maritz and I had the same problem. Honestly, I do not know exactly what they wanted as the question was unclear. The report was on hold and bounced back to me twice. I do not know what happened after that, actually. My cynical mind was wondering whether the scandalous bank was using mystery shoppers as the next way to increase the number of new accounts open, after their old method was halted as illegal. Do you seasoned Maritz shoppers have any words of advice?
The blue bank was a scandalous bank too with a $110 million settlement over overdraft fees and a $55 million settlement over mortgage discrimination thus leading to a lot of steady work for us.

After having completed 20 of these new scandalous bank shops, I'm seeing a pattern. First, one or more of the questions is a"trick" question, meaning they are giving us some rope. Second, there is a desired outcome and that is not necessarily to show that the bankers have changed their ways.

Remember, if everyone is doing their job, there is less of a need for us.

I am supposed to do my first opening an account today and now a little worried about being paid by Maritz.
Just an fyi, the scandal was not recent. The allegations were from several years ago and has been an ongoing lawsuit for a couple of years.

YEs, they have asked one question and then kick it back and tell you that they want another question answered. I am very clear with the editor and tell them I am happy to write that answer, BUT, that is not what the question asks. Usually it does not come back at me again.

Why are you worried about being paid by MaritzCX? One of the better paying MSCs out there.smiling smiley
I have never had a problem being paid by maritz. I do many types of shops and I do agree that lately the auditors are a bit "crazy" they 'hold" for things I know I did and submitted because the form wont submit without it. I have been asked for things and had to send back a quote from their own shop directions but in the end it works out and the money hits my bank 2X a month
I have done 3 bank shops in the last couple of months with them and have had no issues with getting paid. But, a lot of the responses here are some seasoned shoppers... So I am curious what the issue is.

I always over elaborate on all questions or narratives. Guess I learned that from Intelli-shop when I started.
I don't know the question or the bank that you are addressing, because in my area there are no bank shops on their job board.
