For a Maritz shop request, what does "not scheduled" mean?

I requested a bank shop from Maritz last week. When I click on the Requested Shop Status button, the message says "not scheduled." Does that mean it is not YET scheduled, but it may be at some point? Or, does it mean my request was denied, and the shop was awarded to someone else? If the former, how long does it generally take before the scheduler decides who will do the shop?

It means the assignment is still pending, so you have a chance of getting it if it is scheduled by one of the Maritz staff. In the interim period, if a shopper who can self-schedule logs in and wants that shop, they can self-schedule it and then it will not show up as "not scheduled" any more, and you will know that someone else got the shop. The first 10 shops you do with Maritz, you must request the shops and they are scheduled by a Maritz staff member. After you have successfully completed 10 shops, you will be able to self-schedule.
Not exactly. Maritz' "self schedule" status is supposed to be in place after one has completed ten shops, but often that is not the case. Sometimes, specific types of shops can only be "applied" for, and then they revert to the "Not Scheduled" listing, despite a significant history with Maritz
Recently, I had a shop in that status and after four calls, and two emails (as we know, emails are virtually worthless with Maritz) I was called back to ask if I would do the job. I called them back twice, accepted, had to leave messages, and then poof! ... the job disappeared. I got a confusing call today (Monday 3/13) from A... at Maritz who said he could not see any record of the job being applied for or being on the board of available jobs.....soooo verrrry frustrating....
Sometimes you can self award the shops but they go to pending instead. It seems to be a glitch with the software. It happened to me a couple of times and a scheduler called me to see if i still wanted the shops. If you have shops you have applied for and they are still showing "not scheduled" I would call them and ask for the shops. They can award them to you over the phone.
