Confero

I missed a shop. I applied for one last night for today. I checked my all day because I knew I had applied for shops and wanted to make sure I didn't miss any. Apparently they didn't email me. I received another email from them about open shops but nothing saying one had been assigned. I emailed the scheduler as soon as logged into the Confero site an saw it had been assigned. Unfortunately it was 20 minutes to late to perform the shop. Do you think she will let me do it tomorrow.

Maybe. That happened to me as well and they let me reschedule it. You need to contact the scheduler.
As long as it was a May shop, most MSCs would be fine with an extension.

Can I piggyback on this thread to ask a question about Confero? If not, please ignore. If so, here goes. I did a reloadable card purchase shop perfectly! I mean, it's one of the simplest shops I've ever done! They scored the shop an 8/10. So, my question is, is this one of those companies that score according to the difficulty of the shop? If not, I just may give them their fee back, they must really need the money to pay editors!
Spicy, My experience with Confero has been with the grocery shops, and I have never gotten above an 8 for any of the shops. I read somewhere on this Forum back some time ago, that a poster had asked an editor about this, and the editors (at least for the grocery shops) feel like no one could possibly deserve a 10 because that would mean the report was either perfect or the shop was not hard enough....go figure! Maybe it's that way with the editors who do the reloadable card shop as well. But, like others have said in various posts, as long as the pay is the same, I'm happy! We'd all like 9s & 10s on our shops for sure, but with some editors, I think you'd have to pull out their eye teeth first to get them to give anything higher than an 8!!
Ha! Timely tread. I think I have gotten one 9 in over 200 shops w them. The rest were 8s. I also think their form logic creates issues as it forces answers that should be N/A but no N/A option is availablw. Their grocery client asks for answers on uniform and food consumption even when you select no one was in the department.
I've only had one Confero shop scored. I received a 10 but it was a recorded phone shop so pretty easy.
Years ago I completed a bundle of easy peasy telephone shops for them. In total there were over 30. I found out later they were edited by three different people. Despite having virtually identical reports, one editor scored their group 8, one went with 9 and the other scored them all 10 with a note saying they were "incredible." #inconsistentediting

I was assigned a 2 part shop with Confero I did the first part on the 10th I was to return the next day to do the second part I did the second part around 12:30 got home tried to imput it it was gone at 2:26 I got a email the job was cancelled Burt on the job board they have the job posted again. I tried calling all afternoon no answer.
I tried calling both of their numbers and just the voice message either busy or away from their desk
I received another score on a phone shop this morning. I received an 8. I have no idea what the problem was but I suppose I won't worry about it.
Maybe I didn't write enough. When everything is good, I struggle with finding enough to write without stating opinions. Oh but wait, on this survey I actually had to limit what I wrote because I originally had too many characters. Now that's frustrating.
I quit stressing about the 8's I get when I do a shop for Confero.....they pay me and all is good. Don't sweat the small stuff....it uses up internal energy that you will need somewhere else down the road.
I've done several different types of shops for them. I'm consistently a 10 everywhere else. I started with them 5/3 and have done almost 20 shops. My 1st payment came yesterday, for 2 shops and I had to email them about it because my log said paid 6/24. Shortly after that I got notified of receipt. The details said "reissue." Yeah right.
