Such charming people of Intellishop............NOT

My experience over these years has been that they love to foul up shops and payments whenever possible.

I recently took on a small route of locations in which you look for something at each place then give something to a person if you see it. The route has just the 4 locations BUT when I got my materials yesterday it seems that they're hoping for no one to have what I'm supposed to look for because they only sent me a total of three things to give out.

I sent them 3 emails since yesterday, all ignored so far, asking what if I see three things in the first location and have no more things to give away. I can still take my photo proof of being in each place but there's no point to have me stand there all decked out in my garb looking around for an hour. I'm supposed to do this project tomorrow, I wonder if they took off the holiday really early.

I didn't even get mine.
No replies to my e-mails, either.
I contacted them via their page on facebook too, I see the notation where my message was seen at a certain time but no reply there either. Darn boogers!

They are good at sending out those shop reminders, though. I got a reminder to do my "circuit," but have not received the products. I've emailed twice. No answer. Pretty much over it at this point. It was a mistake to take them. Way too much work for too little money, and my circuit takes me 2 hours from home. I signed up for this weekend, and without the products, I'm pretty sure that I'm not available for the rest of the month.
Tomorrow was a dud in my schedule, so I figured why not, do one. Had nothing else going on and I do find this shop to be fun. I don't otherwise recommend doing these at base pay. They will go up, usually after August 1st. Not getting any of the stuff (and the no replies to my emails) is frustrating, and now it means that I will eventually have to squeeze this on days where I have a decent schedule planned. This will probably be the last year for me and this shop.
Yup, I always wait til the end. No vest sent, no materials, big bonus. Instead of having to deal with receiving and returning materials, I only had to take a photo and fill out my paperwork for the winners.
These kind of shops must not be available in my area. I haven't seen any on the job board.

There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
1. Call the, The people on the phone are generally reasonable and will answer all of your questions easily.

2. I have the same project. Just go to one location for the proscribed hour, had out all of the cards to anyone with a sticker, and then log on to the next shop on the route to report that you need more. The gas company is apparently really stingy with cards, but the deadline will be extended for a while till everything is done, or they run out of cards. Such was my understanding when I called Intellishop, though that could could change,.
I see on the board is 7 shops in a circuit. Sometimes it list the shop in the circuit, other times it does not. Last year I did a circuit but it only had 3 stations. With 7 stations in the circuit, now, I thinking one or three of those stations are more than 75 miles away. And for $10 a station it probably won't be worth it. When they first came out there was 5. ($50)
No "probably" about it. Definitely not worth it. I wouldn't do them for $10 if they were 10 miles away, much less 75 miles.

.

I have had as much luck calling them as I have had emailing. sad smiley
My tracking number for the box still shows it in "pre-shipment". I want to try and work this out with them, but I have done everything that one can do on my end. This is the last time I try to do this shop, I prefer the clients mystery shop, anyway.
These are actually in my mind "fun" to do. Whenever I can help brighten someone's day with a little surprise, its a good assignment. I haven't done these for last two years, though. Those circuits are ridiculous! Stations out in the boonies paired with those close to home. And the last year I did them, two years ago, one of the managers just kept handing out the stickers to customers inside the store. He told them to put them on the cars and I would give them cards. It was a real mockery as it wasn't a true "spotting" event. So I hung up my "cap" on this one.

Two days after the due date they finally get back to me saying "That is fine! We ship cards based on historical averages! ".

HISTORICAL AVERAGES??? Last year I received 40 cards and gave away all but 8 of them at these same locations. I say MULE FRITTERS to that!!

Have you done the shop since then? If you run out of cards before your hour ends, do you just leave and report the three winners? I saw in the guidelines that you email the scheduler if you ran out of cards and don't go to the next location.
If you run out before the hour is up, then the shop is done. Notify the scheduler if more shops need to be extended and that you'll need more cards. I had a five minute visit last year. One card left, went to the location, saw the guy with the sticker within five minutes. IS had no problem with this.
