Market Force - High Expense Report

I got notice from Market Force that my toll expenses (Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex has many toll roads) made their High Expense Report and I will be required to submit receipts going forward...

That should be in the FAQ on the web site but they just started doing mobile reports in the last year from a cell phone, so it will probably take another year or two for them to catch up.
I do not know about Texas, but in Oklahoma, it takes a few days to post to the website which is well past the eight hours that you have to report the shop.

Depends on location. Florida Sunpass is immediate as is my Harris County Toll Tag. My iPass is usually the next day except in MA where it sometimes takes a week.

I take it that isn't Harris County in Texas. Or Houston as it is more commonly known as.

I received the same email. We have "toss your change in" toll booths so I just take a photo of the booths every time I drive through. I grab receipts on the ones that actually have a person in them. I don't know what else to do with the toss in booths. They cost $0.80 and when you run through all 4 in a day and back, it can add up. I just keep uploading a photo of the booth and my cars dash clock. idk. So far, so good.

Edited to add: On a couple of reports, I got tired of writing in each mile marker and toll name so I just copied the websites turnpike information link in and submitted my screen shots. I often ran out of characters and had to short hand it anyway.

I got the same email after submitting a high expense. I had to enter a national park in order to complete a round a gas station shops. These were not fun shops to do because there were no real addresses and they are not "normal" stations so what you'd think is standard for a station in town is not how they think out in the wilderness. The cost was $30 and I entered it as a toll.

I was asked for clarification because they said this was the first time that someone had requested to be reimbursed for the entry fee for that station. I commented that perhaps they were already in the park and so they didn't consider it an extra expense. For me, however, I only entered to do the shop. I then attached a screenshot of map showing the entry location and the station location. It was approved. Still got the email.

Yes. The main city is Houston but the toll roads are operated by Harris County Toll Authority.

Perhaps I should get an EZ pass for the savings and online record. I use the tolls so infrequently unless it's for shopping, though and I always try to make sure there is a MF shop handy... even if I have to do a $4 shop just to get the $12.80 tolls reimbursed and parking.

I have them for all of the places I use them. Savings and online records are good but I do it mostly for the time savings.
