Honestly, Maritz

Supposedly, I have an assignment. It was sent to my email. Guess what isn't there?

I will have to print masssive anounts of pages for a $6 shop, if the shop ever shows up, I'll have to take the quiz. If I pass the quiz I will have to print at least one more page. I do not flake, but your company needs to figure out why I might think it's a good idea to flake.

I love working with MaritzCX. But could you at least tell us which team we need to speak with. If I had an idea, I could do some major shopping for your company..

Call them. They will cheerfully tell you which team is involved.

Also, every e-mail I've ever received from them clearly says in the address the team number.
Do not print out all of those guidelines, etc!
Rather, save them to a designated file on your computer. Review them as you take your quiz. Put a worksheet together with the pertinent areas of (photos, etc) highlighted in bold or whatever.
For me, I take a laptop designated as my MS computer with me when I perform the shop. Others might use a tablet. I find the laptop easier to use and much cheaper in the long run.
When doing a new shop, I pull up the guidelines to review.
Doesn't matter, the shop that was supposed assigned is no where to be found. No email, not in my shop log either. Now I can't find it on the board.

Hope another shopper wasn't assigned by mistake.

I've have calls to make on Monday. Thank you ceasesmith, the scheduler I spoke with gave me a few team numbers, but then said I'll figure out the teams and hours they work.

I'm new and read everything on this forum. I'm interested, but confused re using your laptop during your shop. Restaurants, movie theaters, retail? I probably misunderstood.
Do not rely upon e-mail confirmation. After applying for a shop, always check back with the MSC's website to see if it is in your shoplog. Do this daily until it is either assigned or the request has been cancelled (either by yourself or the MSC).

Not during, but in the parking lot immediately before entering the shop.

Yep, I bring my laptop with me on every shop, retail gas station, etc.
But, of course, not while performing the shop - it stays in my vehicle. As I said, if the shop is new, I pull up the guidelines and review them before beginning the new shop.
The worksheet I put together also stays with the laptop. For me, making a worksheet has always aided me in various ways. Most importantly, when I make the worksheet, it seems to ingrain in my mind the pertinent details better than any review I could do. It also is a reminder of expected photos to be taken even if the shop was a perfect one.
I forget some Maritz shops are more complex than the ones I take. I send myself an email with what scenario I'm performing for each location and bullet point reminders of key shop details like photo requirements.
For the revealed audits they have, it is best to take your tablet with you. I download all pertinent documents to my One Drive and view them on my tablet (especially to compare current POP, etc.).

The only documents I print are the LOA and the worksheet to write on as I go.
