sqm steps

The answers in the post on this thread are obsolete for the Step 2 test. The one thing I can say for certain is that on the current test, Q 6 is C. I know becasue that's the only one I changed today and it increased my score to 23 out of 25.

My suspicions focus on the answers to the 2 Sally Shopper questions. But here's a puzzle. In US parlance any one of the following 3 options would be a correct answer to the question about what sort of employee an SQM shopper is considered to be:
contract worker
self-employed worker
freelancer.

BUT the instruction do not use any one of those terms exactly. Any ideas about what is unique about Canadian terminology that would make the difference between right and wrong there?

Have the tests changed? I'm Step 9 and have kept most of my answers. For Step 2, Q6 is A, according to my notes, unless they've changed the tests.
Q6 for step 2 is definately no longer A!

Shopper Sally recently referred to revised tests. I checked the list of answers shown on this thread and found that there are very, very, obvious changes!

Bummer! I have the answers up to Step 9 from when I took the tests - almost 2 1/2 years ago.

Best of luck on the tests. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
I'm interested in signing up with SQM, but would like to know if anybody in So. Calif. has done any shops for them?

Write down the answers and you can pass. It does take time though.
But after you pass you will not find any infux of more jobs. So a LOT of time for nothing.
I passed all 9 levels, but it took months. I knew there wasn't any jobs in my state, but I did it for a challenge. I did 8 levels by myself, but on level 9, someone from this forum helped me. In four years, I have only done two low level shops for them. Right now the only shop available in my state are a larger women retail shop, which I am too small to do the shop.

If anyone has any information on the steps, can you inbox me? I'm working on Step2 & I'm stuck at 24 of 25
Just change one answer at a time and keep trying every day until you get it right. The tests are poorly done. Think of it as a persistence test.

I agree 100%.
I finsih all the steps - the hard way, and it took months. I did it four or five years ago, and so far have only done two shops for them. I don't even bother checking their board, as there's nothing in my area. No, I am too small to shop their clothing shops.

Someone else also had the correct idea. When I got to the end I noticed on most levels you have to think out of the US answers. The European shoppers terms are a little different. The total key, copy paste your answers in a word. Doc. Save them. You will need them for other levels.

Not thinking SQM will be so thrilled to see the test answers posted publicly KAS18. You might re think that.

I've taken the test 2x yesterday and 2x today and I'm starting to think this must be the one that's keeping me at 24/25. I have systematically changed the other answers and seen my 24/25 go to 23/25 and the remaining ones I'm 100% sure about. Did you ever hear back from anyone about the Canadian terminology? I, too, have searched through their documents and don't see anything - the closest is that SQM itself has a contract w/the client but nothing about our role with those terms.

I have been stuck on Level 2 for weeks but I think I might have figured it out. So frustrating that you can only do it twice a day.
Hi Everyone. I have been stuck on Step 1 for so freaking long now! I checked my answers with those from below, but they must have changed the questions as they do not correlate. Can anyone help with step 1?

Thanks!!

I'm sorry, I don't know the answers to the questions so can't help with that. It's a while since I did them. While doing the test I wrote down all my answers. I put a mark beside the ones I wasn't clear about. I usually got 1or 2 wrong . I then changed one answer I was unsure about. If my score went down I knew that answer had been right. If my score went up I knew i'd found the right answer. I know sometimes it turned out to be a question I HAD been sure about. It took a long time to get through them all.
Having said all that, I can't tell that they give me any more assignments once I got through the steps.

Just got my account. Don't remember when I applied. Anyone do their discounted flights or hotel?
I can't quite figure out how to do the discounted hotels. I can't tell if the ones I see are shops or discounted hotels. Maybe someone could explain the process.
I've done a discounted hotel once. It was not that much work. I'd do it again. I check their job board when I need a hotel room somewhere any way. But never find one at the right place for the night I need.

The ones near my home stay on the job board forever.

If you click on the job and read the job information I'm sure it will say whether it's a discount or a mystery shop.

I've only seen a few mystery shop hotels on their job board, and none for quite a while.
