Ethics question

Hello, I am new to mystery shopping and have an ethics question. I signed up with Coyle and was assigned to visit a redtaurant. Unfortunately the venue was beyond disgusting and we ended up having food poisoning. When I brought this to Coyle they advised that under no circumstances I can post anything online. My concern is that this place is a real threat to public health and I am afraid other people might have health problems after visiting this place. So how do i proceed? Breach the contract with coyle and report the place? Or just move on and forget the whole thing? This has really been bothering me for some time now...
Any input is much appreciated.

I can't imagine what restaurant was this horrible or why you need to post it somewhere. I'm sure the Manager and owners will know if customers are getting sick. i'm sure your report stated what happened to you, that should solve the problem and they will clean up. Losing Coyle won't solve the problem, just take away good jobs from you. I think the problem will get solved and you told the truth, meaning your part of the job ended.
edited to add: years ago doing a revealed Arby's job, I got sick and downplayed it, but wrote it in report.
I continued working for the MSC but would never take another Arby's again.

I'm curious why you would think posting it online is the appropriate action? As a regular customer, if you believe or have proof it was food poisoning, reporting them to the Health Department would be right course of action. Unfortunately, we are not regular customers.

I asked Coyle rep to let their client know of this incident but I have a feeling they won’t..,

Suggesting it is okay to breach a contract as long as the other party can't identify you is ironic on a thread asking about ethics.

There is no reason to post it online. The restaurant hired Coyle to help identify any problems so they could be resolved without publicity. Coyle subcontracted that job to you. You did your part by identifying a sanitation issue and you already agreed not to turn this into a chance to drag them through the mud on the internet. You need to continue to uphold your end of the contract.
