Martiz Question

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!

Secondly, quick question and I apologize if this question has already been asked. I have never performed a shop with Martiz, though recently applied for a particular shop in a city I will be traveling to soon. The immediate reply was to update my profile, which I did, with the exception of uploading a copy of my auto insurance. I feel this is private information and if I am performing a shop, I am doing so as an independent contractor. Why should I prove I carry auto insurance? I appreciate any thoughts and answers, here on the forum or through PM.

Thank you.

Happy New Year.

Independent contractors and vendors in different industries are often asked to provide proof of insurance. Your social security number is also private information, and yet most MSCs ask for it.

Of course, your feelings are valid and you are free to choose not to work for any MSC that asks for proof of auto insurance.
Maritz has a client that requires test driving a vehicle. Before allowing you to accept that shop, they want to know that you are legal to drive.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.

Also, it can't hurt to contact them to ask if you can redact the information you don't want to share.
I just do my first job (in years) opening a checking account, over an hour, come home to do report, and site says, not time yet. The dates to do shop were 01/-2 thru 04.....what is going on? i know Maritz comes on, please let me do report NOW, thanks.

Live consciously....
Providing insurance policies and even certificates of current is a standard practice in many industries. Frankly, I am surprised that there are many MSCs that don't require it. Can't fault Martitz for having a wise risk management/legal team in place.

Not sure what is so personal about an insurance policy. Medical record: personal. Love letters: personal. Insurance: nope.

Can not submit a request for some reason. I think I will send them back to the back burner.
Me too. It says 58 jobs in my area then I click to look at them and there's 4 with teenager pay.
