Really, Intelli-shop?

I just got an e-mail back from a scheduler who said that their politically controversial pizza chain shops (for online delivery) cannot be scheduled such that there is a date range (i.e. different start and end dates) during which I could do it. What, the store needs to know on what ONE day I'm coming?

LMAO

No, but your scheduler does. This shop has a restriction that two shoppers can't visit within a few days of each other, so if you asked for a shop window, no other shops could be scheduled within a couple of days before or after that window.
Based on the job board, they only have the one shop (the one that I took) at that location, so your hypothesis would seem unrelated.

It is not a hypothesis, it is a stipulation in their contract with the pizza chain. And just because you only see one doesn't mean there aren't other shops. Many of us have "regular" shops that the schedulers assign directly without ever posting to the board. I know for a fact that in my city at least two locations for this popular shop are direct assigned every month (not always the same two, mind you).
I just wanted to share something that was in an email I received from an Intelli-Shop scheduler (I still don't receive their solicitation e-mails but this was in response to an inquiry I made to a scheduler)
I had to laugh at this:
“Voted one of the top five MSP Companies to work for by the Independent Contractors of the MSPA”. So I wondered, who voted? lol

I wouldn't say they are in my top five, but they are high on my list. If the price is right, I will shop with them in a heartbeat. And believe me, the price is often right.

I do still do IS shops now and then but definitely not top 5 for me. All that is on the board in my area right now are pizza and burger shops. I have exactly 0 interest in those.

..... A lot of MSC's want to know the exact day you're shopping. Really, majority of other MSC's out there?!

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
Many of the shops from various msc's that show a range when you apply ask you to pick a date from that range immnediately I have occasionally asked to change the date I chose within the range to another date within the original range and was told the other dates were too close now to other shops to re schedule mine. What stormraven has said rings true in my experience.
My experience has been that setting a range is fine. I'm not going to expand the experience I have to draw conclusions about the "majority of other MSC."

For example, post office shops are assigned in the range of a week, not a specific day. I have shopped them a lot, and when applying, I don't have to pick a date, just agree to do it in the week assigned.

Yes of course many shops are given a window to do them in. But many, many shops ask you to choose a date. Some of them a date and time. If you haven't had this experience I suggest you sign up with more companies.
I got a 7 rating by InteliShop on a carry-out pizza shop because a form wouldn't post to THEIR software. I would get a done from the software and it let me finish the report. The editor went ballistic because they had to send me an email to reload the form. I had to send a copy to the scheduler. But the editor still burned me for their issue. Now, I don't get work from them. Not that I did that much for them before. It's just the principle. I have perfect 10 scores with several companies. They were one of them until that happened. Any ideas on how I can fix this? I tried telling the scheduler. And it happened a few months ago.
Are you saying you were unable to load the receipt photo although it appeared to load correctly on your end? It seems easy enough to send it in an email if that was the case. Not sure that that alone would result in a "ballistic" editor. In spite of their well-known issues, I have only had productive, courteous interactions with them myself. I doubt you can "fix" your rating, but it really doesn't matter. One 7 will not change what shops you are offered.
The only shops that I do on a regular basis that do not require you to pick a certain date are post office shops and a regional grocery chain shop. All others require a specific date. I am signed up with a lot of companies, but only do regular work for about 11 of them.
I just had to share this. I just got this e-mail from an editor for Intelli-Shop. Confusing much? LOL

~ Your report has been finalized. A score of 8 has been given because we had to contact you. Thank you for making the requested updates.

FYI they did not contact me. Think someone copy and pasted one too many times or something? lol

I've gotten those generic comments on shops before and been given 8, 9, and 10 for the first two blurbs.
