Intellishop - My first official rejection!

It’s a sad day here for me. I got my first rejected shop, well actually two! Both are from Intellishop. I had done an on-site shop for them with no problems. I have done shops for multiple other companies including a few other phone shops and I haven’t had any issues. I spent quite a bit of time out of my day on both of them so I’m a little upset. The first was a banking shop with targets, all extensions were invalid and employees stated all the targets listed did not work there. Ok confusing to me, so I email asking how to proceed. They respond, shop anyone. Great! I got this. NOT I slip and say savings account instead of checking, but I catch myself and say I’m sorry checking account. Well that’s enough to get my shop rejected apparently - lesson learned. But I’m confused on my second shop because I spent a good bit of time and I thought it went great! I gave a good review - followed the given scenarios and everything. I gave a good report, with the exception that I did not get a call back in 3 days. I submitted report after 3 business days. They call on day number 4 (of course!). Well I looked at my report tonight and it’s rejected- buts what worse I got a 1/10, they said I didn’t give correct information. I am so confused. I gave all my accurate information. This was an online school shop. I e-mailed them, I hope I get a response so I know what I did wrong and not make the same mistake again. Although, I’m considering not accepting any more phone shops for them. The amount of time I spend on the shops doesn’t seem worth the $5.

Ragdollcatlover I have shopped over 2000 branches of banks. I don't understand your post. I do not shop for Intelli that is probably your problem. It sounds to me that for $5 you spent way to much time. Intelli fees are so low, some of their editors are ridiculous, their Guidelines aren't complete. I did one shop for them a few years ago, I did do it because they paid me $70, yes $70. They almost didn't pay me, I kept every email that the editor sent me, she actually called me a liar, said that I didn't walk in areas that I did. She also stated that I could not have remembered exact quotes, this was the RECORDED telephone portion. I went to the top, sent all of the emails. I think she got fired. I got a 7 and got paid. I noticed that she had wiped out all of the emails in my log, but didn't realize I was smarter than her and saved them.
I am not familiar with your shops so can't offer you any advice on what you did right or wrong.

One way to look at it is that you did not 'lose' a large amount of money. Squeeze whatever knowledge you can out of these situations and move on.

For me, I would skip 5 dollar shops.

The school shops are normally $9 if it is the shop I am thinking of. It is recorded probably. I do phone and web shops for Intellishop. The clients will contact them if your information is incorrect, so you need to keep all correspondence. That is true with all shops though. I have never had a problem with them. I have not done the school shop though. It does require spending time learning the shop. The narrative is probably longer. Sign up with more companies, there are so many of them.
I've done their school shop. It's been a while but I've done it. With those shops I found I had to listen to the recording to get all of the questions answered accurately. Did you listen to your recording? Did you call in the specified time period? Are you sure you used the right scenario (public or private?). I'm sorry this happened to you and I know how frustrating it is.

There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
Your first, but probably not your last for this MSC. Do a search on the forum here to see that you're in good company.

Kinesis has $6 phone calls that take 2 mins on the phone and <10 mins to report. If you're doing more than that for $5, you're being underpaid.

I did a lot of school phone shops for Intelli. Everytime I did one, I had to get a new phone number, email and name. There were several apps that can give you a different number free of cost. Eventually, I ran out of those and decided to stop doing them. They were fun since they paid $9 or $12 where the person shopped did most of the talking and all I had to do was listen. Hopefully, they have a good explanation as to why they rejected your shop. Sounds to me that you did fine.
I just got my first 1 from them too. I'm done. The school shops are a pain anyway. I can do less work for more $ elsewhere. I've never done one of the bank shops, but that is a crap fee.
I still do a very few for IS. They have to be close and something I enjoy doing (no fast burger shops and no pizza shops). I used to do a lot more but I wasn't so picky back then and I wasn't signed up with many other companies. I'm still waiting to get paid today though.

I will for Intellishop from time to time... My only rejected shop was from them - but it was clearly my fault. I've got three **very** good shops through them later this week. smiling smiley

Phone shops are rarely worth the fee. They are too much work!

for me it depends on the phone shop. I have 1 I do for IS that's a breeze to do for me.
