Why? Shes coming at me flaming. The PI rep is NIT a scammer. The OP was paid. Why are you, SoCal so reasonable with other posters. What did I do or say to you to make you back every single person who is upset and call me sh!t? Ill block all of this today!
Here's the PM that spicy1 sent me. I have no idea how to block PM's.

I have her toggled, so I don't have to read her posts:

Skank
Whoa, that's pretty rude. Spicy, please don't PM nasty things to other forum members, I don't want to hear about that crap.
There is plenty of evidence in this and another thread showing that the PI rep IS a scammer. Having to chase payment until a shopper corners and forces an elusive MSC rep to get paid is so uncool and is proof that the PI rep IS a scammer, or at least is trying to pull a con. It's pretty obvious to me that Carrie would not have paid the OP if the OP had not been relentless. Another forum member, Larry, also had a hard time getting payment and finally was able to get Carrie, Cari, Shawna, or whatever her name is to pay. And a well-respected MSC owner, Doug from NWLPC had words about her that proves she has lack of integrity. And if there were two people that posted in the forum about her trying to fleece them, just think how many others there are out there that don't know about this forum and never got paid.

SoCalMama -just wow! I would respond but you seem to get it. Yeah...some people make me shake my head, in this case: schedulers and shoppers. There was or is another woman working at so called Private Eyes Online with Carrie. It may be spicy1!? Btw how do you toggle someone? I never had to do so until now Edited: I figured it out! Easy smiling smiley

JASFLALMT - correct! I think I got paid because I received about three or four emails from Carrie, all from different accounts, and I accepted another shop from her...yeah...I give people benefit of a doubt....this all happened when I posted this on the forum. And then I learned of all this mess with this woman, before and now... and that she directly lied to me about (non)checking her emails.
Yes, unfortunately, most of shoppers do not use this forum and will never know, MSCs as well. Feedback from MSCs that I contacted who used her as a scheduler was optimistic. I was also assured that she did not have access to my personal (sensitive) information

This was interesting to read. I got the email too, and remember this name from the IMSC group on FB. And suddenly this person was no longer a member. So that is a group independent from this one that apparently came to the same conclusion.
Hi Carrie,
I've emailed you several times about 12 unpaid evals in May of 2018, eight of which you promised bonuses for. You said they'd be paid in four weeks, it's going on nine. I haven't heard back from you regarding the money owed to me. Yet I continue to get recruitment emails from you, recruiting for the same shops you haven't paid me for. I'm only now seeing this thread, and to be honest it has me terrified and feeling like I need to stop waiting for a run around and contact authorities. Can you please respond with how you are going to immediately rectify this situation? Thank you.
There is another thread, Red Quanta. You are not the only one waiting for payment....Good luck!
Kid,

Your best bet is to send her a threatening email. That's what another forum member, Larry, did. I will see if I can find that thread.

From what I've heard before, Cari/Carrie/Shauna has been trouble for YEARS. On the admin side of things here, I have gotten a bit more information over the years. Many years ago, she stole a company's shopper database that she scheduled for to attempt to steal the shoppers' identities (this is here-say FYI). Also, Lysa Sampson was the original owner of Private Eyes... she brought Cari into the fold saying they were "partnering". Lysa's email address as of this past winter was lysa@privateeyesonline.net.

Steal shopper identities? As in having access to sensitive info like birthdays, SS#s, etc? That was my biggest fear for shoppers...thank goodness I never did work for her or Private Eyes.
As a scheduler, I had access to all of the info that you provided to MSC except of SS#. After this ordeal, I communicated with Merc, they assured me that she didn’t have an access to my SS# or credit card. I still get emails from Cari soliciting shops for other companies that I have not signed up for. One of them the same client as Merc. The whole thing is unsettling

Edit to add - Yes, Deva, Lysa and Cari scheduled together for Merc, at least Around end of the last year. I’ve never dealt with Lysa thou

Major concern. Of course, as an independent scheduler, there's no telling how many companies she may have worked for. Based on Doug Rector's post on Volition, we know she scheduled for NWLPC briefly. Private Eyes scheduled for Freeman before Freeman went bust and Lyssa, who then owned Private Eyes, certainly had access to shopper data. Does Carrie now have data on any shopper who was registered with Freeman?. Carrie appears to have recently scheduled for Mercantile and Sinclair. That raises questions about whether Freeman's shopper data was available to her and whether she had access to shopper data at Mercantile and Sinclair.
I haven't done work for Sinclair for a long time, though I am def in their database, and I have done quite a bit of work for Mercantile in the past and recently. Scary idea that she might be trying to infiltrate to do more harm than just empty promises regarding bonuses. This is a pretty severe case of possible data breach.
At that time, yes the SSN were visible to schedulers in a couple of systems. That has been rectified as of a few years ago.

This Carroe scheduler has gone awfully quiet as of late since she posted within this thread. Carrie, if you are reading, are you able to confirm/deny/clarify any of these claims against you?
She also schedules for Nsite. I received an email from Carrie scheduling shops for Nsite and asked the owner to remove me from his database as I don't want her to get access to my private information. I had just scheduled 4 bar shops for August with Nsite, but I asked for those to be cancelled. I had signed up with Nsite a few years back but never shopped for them, it would have been my first time. The owner was NOT happy with the cancellation, but did not seem to mind that his scheduler had such background. Those are the first shops I ever cancel in 5 years of mystery shopping, but it's not worth taking the risk of having my personal information jeopardized
Consider it a bullet dodged, @charlhenri

I have seen Nsite move between schedulers for years and have had to continually ask to have my name removed from those offers.

I feel like I'm seeing a pattern develop where only the most unethical, uncaring, and problematic MSCs will work with this scheduling company. They are clearly reaching for the low-hanging fruit....but perhaps that's their only option.
I would have tried to change/remove as much of the information in my shopper profile as possible if I sensed something rotten with an MSC or the schedulers it used. I would not trust such an MSC to honor my request to remove my information.
Miki, why would an MSC have your credit card?

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
HonnyBrown: for example, I recently provided full CC details to one of my schedulers to purchase a plane ticket necessary to complete the shop. To Merc, I did not provide CC info, but I completed shops for them where CC reversal was done after my shop was accepted. I don’t see how the scheduler would get hold of the info. This scheduler, Cari, has had legal issues connected to fraud and scamming shoppers. Once I learned that, I openly asked Merc to assure me if she had access to my CC info, SSN, etc. Just unesy feeling after the ordel that I had with her.
I see shoppers here having a bank account just for mystery shopping and I am planning to do the same this weekend, just to minimize any potential issues to better keep track of spending and earnings. Few MSCs ask for direct deposit which I’ve never had issues with but admit to feel somewhat uneasy about providing bank info.
Charlhenry, SteveSoCal: yes, she schedules for Nsite. I did shop for them last year and it got rejected which was weird. I did the same shop months later and all went just fine; I did have to remind them to pay me, the payment was a week late. But it was strange that the shop got rejected - the guidelines did not state the obvious. I did not challenge the decision at all, just no time and is not worth it sometimes. This is one out of two or three shops that ever got rejected in my 15 years experience in mystery shopping. It didn’t give me a great impression of Nsite
