What are you doing? I have done the groceries, Business Verifications, restaurants and big box.

I've done 2 technology store shops. I don't think I would do anymore. Too much to look for, remember, and then write up. The pay is just not worth it but they pay fast, twice a month.
@ Irene I am doing a restaurant photo aduit.

I was looking over the guidelnes and it said something about their app? Do I have to use their app or can I input the information on the computer?

Also one place I read that I can download the app on my tablet? I downloaded the app on my tablet to see what it is like before I downloaded it to my to my phone and it did not show me my current project.

I will download it to my phone just in case.

All the projects in my area have been photo aduits. Do they have any shops that are non photo aduits?
They have a large grocery client... I’ve done a few of those, but don’t seek them out. They aren’t bad if you need some groceries.

I like this company. I do the fast/casual steak restaurants and their warehouse shops. Nothing major in the way of shopper pay or reimbursements, but they always pay, I've never had report issues, and the shops are nice "fill-ins".
@Isaiah4031ah...I hardly ever use app's, and never for them...when I have questions I write to their customer Service, they answer quickly. Sorry I can't answer. I enjoy their Business Verification, groceries and restaurants (which are easy), and yes, love that they pay twice a month without hassle, though pay is low. They have a lot of new shoppers and jobs don't stay on the board long, few pads worth the effort for me as all their jobs are within 3 miles of home, which is time and $ (in my eyes). Don't think you have to use app's, but check first.

I have not done many, basic sign or location audits. The app is helpful and yes you should get it. They prefer the mobile check-in for some assignments that I have done. I have not done much with them yet to be on autopilot about that, but you can often input basic responses very eaily onsite, save more detailed responses for later.
The app has limitations when you check for jobs, I just picked one up after an email. I did not see it in the app, but in the regular website version of projects. Again, I am still new to using them, only about six-eight assignments. But it works because I live in a great area convenient to simple jobs while I do errands or work around the kids.
@Isaiah4031a are you doing the beverage audit? I did one last week that was refused by mgmt. of the restaurant. I'm going back on Sunday to try again. I will get paid twice, which is nice, and the audit seems very short 10-15 minutes at most. The advantage of doing these with the app is that you are doing it on the fly and no reports later! I love using the App and as another poster mentioned, they like you to use the check in feature.
@CTChamp. No I am not. I have downloaded the app to my phone. This will be first time to use a app so we will see how it goes ;winking smiley

Since this was my first job with them shall I have asked for PAD

I read on the guidelines about moble check in.

Once I complete the job is it like most of the MSC and it takes a few days for them to review or it is like with a couple of hours to know how I did?

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for the help guys
They don't always give feedback. If you job is done right they generally just pay and move on. The app is really easy to use. They guide you through pretty much every part of a shop. If you can get a parking shop I recommend those to. Really easy.
Their mobile check in process is optional but very easy to use. If you prefer not to use the app to check in you are required to make a small purchase that is reimbursed, and upload the receipt to show pov. Good luck to you.
Thanks to all who have replied.

Once it will let me I will print off the report and take it with me but I will keep it out of site through.
They don't give out PAD very often. If and when you ever get some, you better enjoy it! So keep that in mind before you accept a shop...and if you ask for PAD, you don't get assigned the job while your PAD request is being considered. Then if you don't get the PAD, the job is usually given to someone else.
I love the app and use it for check in all the time.
Are they good about replying back?

I sent a email over the weekend asking a couple of questions about the project. I have not heard back but it is still early in the morning.
YES, they reply usually in a day.

I just received a email answeing my questions
PAD depends on how many shoppers in your area and how close it is to the end of the month/quarter. They're a good company, but their base rates are far too low. I always ask for PAD; sometimes I get it, other times someone else is willing to take a lower fee.

My area no pads ever....I've asked for 2.00 and they immediately find another...there are so many newer shoppers here and with their rotation, I hardly get what I want, even without asking for pad. I have been a good shopper for them for years, they don't seem to care....welcome whoever can do it for less, name of the game.
They "were" my #2 company.

Hi all!!
Im completely new at this! Any suggestions where to start?

I came in this discussion to read about mystery shopping companies but I'm not following much. I tried googling the source and I've got nothing.

I have just signed up with Market Force.

So any pointers for a newbie? Where to start? understanding what you all are talking about? LOL smiling smiley

Thank you smiling smiley
@Adeluca3
Hello and Welcome!

First, I suggest you venture over to the "New Shoppers" area on the forum. It has a ton of information that will really open up the world of mystery shopping to you. Of course, feel free to post questions in the forum any time. You are likely to get multiple answers very quickly.

Second, there is a link at the bottom of this page to over 200 mystery shopping companies. Click on one to find links to the particular company's page, where you can register as a shopper. I suggest that you start with the "15 Most Discussed" companies as they are all larger companies with work nationwide. Most companies are fairly small and will only have regional work. If you really get into this, you'll eventually sign up with over 100 companies.

I just completed a few shops and the grocery one was a pain!!!! I don't like going back and forth - too many variables. I did an audit an loved it! One photo and bam! I was done! They take up to a day to respond. If you put your phone number in the message they will text you. Do NOT except support DURING the shop if you have questions. I also like that you can see the questions when assigned.
I do a ton of their grocery shops. I know people think these jobs don't pay much, but it's worth a couple of hours to me to get most of my groceries covered every week. It took me several shops to really get the hang of the grocery jobs, but now it goes smoothly. They pay frequently and reliably. I'm pretty darn happy with them!
They owe me for an inspection shop. It does not show up on the paid page. they said that I should check on my bank account. I'm saying that that doesn't matter unless they do not put the inspection pay on the page that reports what you have been paid for. that sounds like the IRS might want to get involved on it they are fudging reports.
